I guess from that point of view, it's kind of like the "people" in videogames. They're not real and you can do whatever you want to them.

 

What I want to know is why do some people take that as a license to shoot everything that moves and do a lot of other (potentially if it was real) reprehensible things even to characters on their own side just for the fun of it (lets see how many people we can run over with our car!!) while others can't even pick up a virtual "gun" without moral issues?

 

What is it in someone that makes them want to be "mean" if doesn't really count?
