THE ROAD

Featured Replies

Anyone planning on seeing this upcoming film from the writer of 'No Country For Old Men'? We are currently reading the book in my English class.

Here is the official trailer:

However, that is a falsely easy to handle portrayal of the story. This highly disturbing film clip is a little more accurate:

The book is morbid and somewhat horrible to read although it is quite incredibly written. Not a movie for the faint of heart, but if you can handle some messed up shit, it looks like a fantastically made film.

i really want to see this!

I've never read the book, but i've heard it's really good!

Ha ha, very funny..................................

Next you'll be telling us it's a "road" movie.:P

This is on my list of movies to watch. I didn't realize it was based on a book. I'd be interested to read the book first.

If you feel you can handle some rather gruesome imagery, it is a great read. Won a lot of awards and it highly regarded as McCarhty's best work.
