Help with One After 909

Featured Replies

So my band is going to cover One After 909 by the Beatles, What's My Age Again by Blink 182, and Highway One by Foxborro Hot Tubs. We decided to do the early version of One After 909, because we have 2 guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. I just can't figure out what Key One After 909 is in. Can anyone help? Thanks!

EDIT: I just figured out the chords, but I need to do the solo.

it's in the key of B!

that's somewhat obvious. And it's somewhat based on 12 bar blues.

yes, that's obvious!

but why did you ask, then? =p

The only problem with that tab is that it's the late 1969 version of the song, not the 1963 version, between which are major differences, but I could just modify the later solo.

i might try and work out for you in a mo

edit, ah the video just got removed.

host it/the mp3 if u can

edit 2 listened to the song again, i really think you could probably improvise better than what's played, plus noone's gonna notice, what's there isn't really memorable
