Coldplay Trip

Featured Replies

My sister and I are going to visit London in December and we've decided to make it a sort of 'Coldplay trip' so, I was wondering if anybody knew some cool Coldplay related places to visit and take pictures of while there? :D

Or, maybe some places that the boys frequent? :)

ps. I hope I posted this in the right thread!:\

Bakery/Beehive of course (but don't stalk)

Hampstead Heath

Dublin Castle

Monkey Chews

Violet Hill

plenty of others but those are just a few

Thanks!

No stalking intended! I was a bit afraid I would come off as a stalker!

across the street, down about 100 feet (if that)

Here's the view of it; it's the second reddish building with the white overhang. I was standing in front of the Bakery when I took this.

^ I thought the Beehive was number 15, the old church next door? Maybe they are connected? The door of the building with the white overhang was open when I walked past....I should have looked in!

This has all been discussed at length before. Both entrances are significant.;)

Cool...I dont get on here much....

Yes, I understand, people have their opinions about that, I won't argue about it here. I am of the camp that believes a property for sale (since at least April) for 1.75 million pounds and only has one lock on the door isn't significant, but again, that's just my logical opinion.

Which is however false, as at least two Coldplayers have seen members of the band leaving or entering via that door (unless, of course, you're suggesting they made it all up). Therefore the evidence is pretty much irrefutable that that particular property has been used at some point at least.:dozey:

^ Not quite sure how this is false, but okay. http://www.foxtons.co.uk/search?bedrooms_from=0&price_from=1500000&price_to=2000000&property_id=731343&search_form=keyword&search_type=SS&submit_type=search I don't appreciate being called a liar.

Mark, the point of this thread is that she would like some suggestions for a lovely trip. I have only mentioned a few, so if you could suggest some more I'm sure she would be very appreciative.

Nobody has ever disputed the fact the property might be up for sale. That's completely irrelevant, and was discussed at length in the Beehive thread.

However, I don't suppose the Coldplayers who saw significant people using that entrance would appreciate the suggestion they had been lying, either.:dozey:

I'm sure she would also be appreciative in terms of being given accurate information.;)

Of course, if anyone can give concrete proof that that entrance is completely irrelevant and that no members of the band have ever been seen entering or leaving by it, please feel free to provide it.

Let's stay on topic.

Using words like "evidence" etc makes it sound as if we're in court and this is just a messageboard!

starsinheavenalign, here is one more:

268 Camden Road is where their first flat was.

Literally just around the corner is "The Lord Stanley", the pub where the "60 Minutes" doc / interview has been filmed.

If you've got some time you could go there as well - very nice food!

You have to take a bus though to get there.

What about a visit to the campus of UCL where the guys all met? That would be cool if you had time?

If you're anywhere near Piccadilly Circus tube take a trip to Absolute Radio studios where Coldplay have done various interviews and Chris Martin solo session. Plenty of places to sit and eat a picnic on Globe Square opposite too! :)
