SUMMER FESTIVALS

Featured Replies

AS THERE IS SLIM TO NO CHANCE OF GETTING TO SEE COLDPLAY AT GLASTONBURY IN 2011 ME THINKS THAT ALL OTHER COLDPLAYERS WHO ARE IN THE SAME POSITION AS ME SHOULD JUST WAIT FOR SOME MORE GOOD NEWS OF FETSIVALS TBC SUCH AS READING AND LEEDS AND V FESTIVAL WHICH ARE ALL FANTASTIC TO GO TO I LIVE IN HOPE BUT I CAN SEE IT HAPPENING AND THEY ARE ALOT MORE EASY TO GET INTO SO KEEP YA EYES AND EARS OPEN

Caps much? :stunned:

Moved your thread to the Live section :)

FYI the V line up has already been announced and Coldplay aren't playing I'm afraid.

and if we arent in the UK?

im just wondering about all these festivals they will be playing.

.Do you know of any other band that has played in so many festivals in one year??..It just seems like a lot especially without new material

i'd have thought its cheaper to have a festivals tour than to build your own. less overheads and a bit less hassle (but maybe R#42, the Oracle & co can disprove that thought!)

you can get outside in the summer instead of being stuck inside smelly arenas.

a chance to create new fans by converting sceptics. people at coldplay concerts are likely to mainly be fans already. large parts of festival crowds won't be, and may overhear a set and decide all the stuff they read about you is distorted and actually, that band ain't so bad after all

a chance to catch up with old music friends without having to pay them to tour with you.

Kings Of Leon and Pulp are doing quite a few.
