roche714
im just wondering about all these festivals they will be playing. .Do you know of any other band that has played in so many festivals in one year??..It just seems like a lot especially without new material
Jenjie
i'd have thought its cheaper to have a festivals tour than to build your own. less overheads and a bit less hassle (but maybe R#42, the Oracle & co can disprove that thought!) you can get outside in the summer instead of being stuck inside smelly arenas. a chance to create new fans by converting sceptics. people at coldplay concerts are likely to mainly be fans already. large parts of festival crowds won't be, and may overhear a set and decide all the stuff they read about you is distorted and actually, that band ain't so bad after all a chance to catch up with old music friends without having to pay them to tour with you.
