David Hasselhoff set to star in TV drama based on The Equalizer

Britain's Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff is set to star in a TV drama based on classic US series The Equalizer.

David revealed he is working with ITV on a programme based on The Equalizer, which featured the late Edward Woodward, who died in 2009, in the role of an ageing New York vigilante with a mysterious past.

However, he also has a film and a reality TV project in the pipeline

The 58-year-old actor - who judges BGT alongside Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre - said: 'I'm developing some more TV shows right now, more along the lines of The Equalizer. You know, like a cool, undercover cop. I like that stuff.

'The reality show's called Same Name. I switched places with another David Hasselhoff and lived in Texas with his family while he went on tour for me and lived with my family in Los Angeles.

'I can't say too much about the film, but it's funny.'

And David has also denied rumours he's set to be axed from Britain's Got Talent.

He added to The Sun newspaper: 'It's all rubbish. The ratings are huge. I got a 48 per cent audience share.

'A 48 share is off the charts. Or maybe that should be Hoff the charts.'

I must admit, I have developed a new-found respect for The Hoff following his Piers Morgan interview last weekend.

I still wish he'd ditch the singing, though.:P

I'll have to make my own reality TV

never the fans never receive response of letter

That's not true. I know someone who got a response from Coldplay.;)

Sorry, not want to generalize. Fans can receive letters. Cool for this fan :)

me for David Hasselhoff no answer because is a letter of groupie, you know identity problem for a little girl in the past.

me too for the band Coldplay have written to Guy Berryman (his work of photos)

but received no response. but because not ask questions .

but I wrote letters to celebrities Morten Harket and Magne Furuholmen, but neither response .

Did you use the same translator you're using here?

Then that might be the reason that you didn't get a response.
