Anyway, other McDonalds news :freak:

China's McDonald's Will Give You a Discount, Just for Being Male

Tired of paying a cover charge and not getting a break? Chinese McDonald's restaurants are taking pity and introducing a “man-only discount” for those with the Y chromosome.

To commemorate the introduction of 100% pure beef in their burgers, China's golden arches is offering a 50% discount on second burgers for men only. The deal is only available on Wednesdays.

McDonald's China general manager, according to Shanghaiist, says that the promotion is a reaction to the special treatment that women and children can sometimes receive. We're sure it's not also because the general manager is a dude.

Regardless, males outnumber females by more than 30 million in the Communist country. Sadly, as a side effect of China's one-child policy and a societal preference for males, the gender ratio discrepancy is growing. Well, at least the discount includes the majority of the population.

I dunno..

One too large a corporation, with addictive food products, a sales and promotion department heavy on the cheese, light on the real mustard...

I like the fact that they offer a veggie burger (but in India? Why not here?). It's prolly GMO veggie stuff anyhow, processed to death and with all sorts of unhealthy additives I am guessing, but this is wackdoogles, so who knows. As long as the burger doesn't hop like a kangaroo.

What would Ray Crock think? All Ray really wanted was to offer some fun for people, good simple burgers, and a way to spread his idea - grow the formula, so-to-speak..

I suppose McDonald's can evolve - phasing out Ronald is probably a good idea, but the whole thing was to make it fun an attractive to kids mainly... Hope they can re-invent themselves into a healthier place to eat at.

I think if public sentiment puts more and more emphasis on fairness, health, and overall wellness, even McDonald's can change - one would hope.

I think it's mainly gouverments and theirs standards.

example in Swiss Mcdonald is systematically controlled health services.

you never see burgers giants and large quantities of food, and are well proportioned. and writes the calories information on the packages .

but anyway the Mado is exactly the same as many already prepare dishes in supermarkets.

I prefer to cook myself the foods fresh with no additives. Unfortunately though, the bio is very expensive in Switzerland. and to oblige with fresh products that offers shopping with additives products to keep products fresh long times :(

Macdo is just good time to time.
