They helped to shut down the metered internet billing a bit ago. I download a lot of shows from here and elsewhere, and definitely did not want to pay through my arse for that. I don't need the government on my computer watching what I do either.

 

So if you are Canadian, please sign it if you value any sort of privacy.

Even if you're not Canadian, perhaps - these policies set precedents, and opportunities for other countries to model similar policies off these ones with apparent "justification" of 'they're doing it too'

Is it just me that thinks this or could the petition just justify what they plan to do even more because it would imply to them that we're hiding things we wouldn't want them to see so they need to see them or something?
