I dislike math, with a great intensity. Just saying. And I shall have to add you to my watch :) (yes, I am on dA)

Drawing realistically is a bitch.

Tell me about it. :dozey: BUT it's the only style I can do and make it look halfway decent, so . . .

Can I join this anti-math club? :awesome: *mumbles about it ruining straight-A report card* 89%s should count as A's, just sayin'. :snobby:

I know what you mean Alex, Chem ruined my straight A's on my 5-week report. Chemistry sucks.

Why does everyone hate math?

Seriously.

Then again, I can't play the piano at all. So different people, different strengths, I guess...

I just have more strengths. :smartass2:

:P

I have straight A's, btw. Well, at this school. My old school (preschool through 6th grade) didn't have grades.

I love Montessori schools. :dazzled:

I can take hands down in art, but I doubt in math. I can play violin, but my skills aren't that great (I don't intend on continuing in college). And your strengths are more math centered, mine are artistically centered, and . . . I can't speak for everyone else.

Chem is my next-worst subject. I pretty much bombed the last test because I forgot to write the noble gas configurations for like ten of the questions :bomb:

Not hate . . . just passionately dislike  Although it wouldn't be so bad if someone hadn't gotten the bright idea of putting me in an "advanced" math class :shifty:

Don't get too full of yourself, now :P

Art = good at  EDIT: And English. Writing is definitely my strongpoint.

I play clarinet in the band, and I'm first chair, but I doubt I'm good enough to go to college for it (then again, I have two more years to practice if I want to . . . maybe I'll get a partial scholarship or something).

So yeah.

Oh, ouch, we're going electronegativity and metallic character and stuff like that for our test tomorrow, it sucks.

We just started going over that on Friday :P

Oh, it's not fun . . . I don't think it is anyway, my chem teacher is weird though. He's an English major and is stressing about football (sectional games and such . . . he's the varsity coach).

Electronegativity?

Pshh, I've heard of that. :P

Only because of my almost-70-year-old-dad who's a PhD in physics, though.

My mom is telling me to submit the picture to coldplay.com's gallery, and I don't want to, because it sucks in comparison to some of the stuff there already. I'm actually not that cocky irl. Usually. :P

I'm decent at writing, not great. I have Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth online Crafting the Essay course to thank for that.

EDIT: All the English teachers I've ever had sucked, though. That might partially explain why I'm not very good.

Your chem teacher is an english major?

Oh. That's always fun. /sarcasm :P

My Geometry teacher freshman year is in charge of all the athletic stuff (like figuring out where games are played and the rankings and stuff) so his lectures would always get interrupted by important phone calls that he had to take.

Yes, my chem teacher is an English major, but lucky me, I understand his use of more complex words (benefits of mphaving mom being an English major too). However, it's no fun.

Isn't Coldplay's gallery for non-Coldplay art, like the Exhibition Room?

^^ I didn't even know my grandparents on my mom's side. My grandparents on my dad's side were in their mid-nineties when they died seven years ago. :blank:

^ Yeah, it is. I was trying to explain that to my mom.

BLAH BLAH SUBMIT IT IT'S REALLY GOOD.

Artist moms don't listen to you. Even more so when their first language is Russian.

Aww, I'm sorry

*raises hand* That's how my mom is. She insists that I show off my art at every family gathering we go to :P

Wah? Russian? . . . Okay, whatever, anyway, I've submitted stuff to the Exhibition Room and haven't been acknowledged yet . . . and it says no Coldplay related art, doesn't it?

No worries. I was six. I didn't know them very well. Or, you know, at all.

I luv showin' off my mad math skills, though.

/gangster

Yeah, my mom's from Russia.

Night Alex!!

My parents are both American, but my grandma was from England.

And I freakin' boast about my artwork! That's why I have a dA!! I wanted people to see my work and tell me what they thought, which has worked for the last year or so. Just theft is horrible. Besides that, know I'm good too and I have taught someone how to draw before.

Good night, Alex!

My mom immigrated here in 1981 (I think, and yes she's old too), but my dad's family has been here for a while. Although I am a little Dutch, since my last name is of Dutch origin, so...

I always put down my artwork. Seriously, I draw in my sketchbook at lunch, and I hate it when anybody other than my friend (other ones go to a different school) looks at them.

And that friend always says my drawings are really good.

I'm not very self-confident in my art skills. :P
