Bass tabs for CB, HLH, UATW, MTM and MM

Featured Replies

Hey, I would really appreciate it if somebody could give me the bass tab(s) for any of the listed songs :) ;

Charlie Brown

Hurts Like Heaven

Us Against The World

Moving To Mars

Major Minus

Many thanks :)

i've done this bass tab for major minus on ultimate-guitar. I'd say it's not 100% correct (or maybe it's missing some notes) but it sounds pretty good to me, I would appreciate it if you could rate it if you like it. :)

UATW and HLH are not really hard to hear, you could try to figure them out by yourself, I think the same goes for Charlie Brown but I'm not sure about that right now..

That's very good! Thanks, sounds good to me :)

I have watched the live performances and looked at Guy's hand placement and I think I'm close to getting HLH.

What happened with your chorus tab? It's an octave to high!

I've made a tablature/sheet of the song wich is (to me) 100% accurate to the song itself.

As approximately said. Us Against The World and Hurts Like Heaven are good songs to try by ear.

Charlie Brown however has it's difficulity in it's time signature.

first 4 bar 7/8, then 4 bars 4/4

Uhm well, it doesn't sound too high for me and you can see that Chris is playing it that high in the live videos (I'm not 100% sure but I think). I don't know how you played it, does it sound like my record? (Don't worry, I'm not singing on that one :P)

Pretty nice recording you have there!!!

My tab is based on the studio version but still I checked out live versions and Guy(not Chris :P) is still playing one octave lower.

Not the exact way I made the tab but the notes however are correct(He slides from fret 12 E string downwards instead fret 7 A string.)

Ofcourse he also might variate the string between A and E.

The way I play it sounds like the studio version.

And also in my tab wich I did not wrote down: Second half of the interlude is played one octave lower live.

Live they play it slightly different then the studio version, so to be able to play my tab I recommend to play the studio version instead.

Oh, okay, well like I said, I'm not sure about my bass tab, it sounded good to me and I only did it for the record and then thought why not put it on ultimate guitar (I think it's still about 200% better than the average tabs posted on ultimate-guitar, just look at the other chord versions of major minus, they don't even have correct lyrics..). If I ever do a new record of this song, I'll play it your way :D

Yes it is much better than the average at UG! And so is your cover!
