So here's my work ...did it in mixcraft tell me what you think...when ill have time ill the the whole song

i know the base is out of tune that happens often when i work in mixcraft i really prefer the actual pads

Good, just add maybe some more overdrive to the bass? And make it more synth.

Sorry, but except for the intro it sounds awful.

- Bass is completely out of sync and very incorrect.

- Tempo is too slow

- It sounds too empty, use more background strings or maybe at some acoustic/piano chords?

- Completely lack of power wich it should have!

Yes but although it's quite good.

And he mentioned that the base is out of time, so I think the whole think it's not so bad, I like the tone of the strings.

First 35 seconds are good.

After that it changes completely.

He says that the bass is out of tune and that it happens often with the program.

In that case... why making it happen again? If you know that the bass might be out of sync, than add the bass track slightly earlier in the mix!

Add a piano next to the bass and drums and it would improve A LOT! :)

i did that hope ill upload it soon

I wrote a super detailed comment and I just wiped it by accident. SO ANNOYED LOL.

It's a decent effort. Use a click track if it's audio, but if the synth is midi then quantize. Add some sawtooth or run it through some overdrive to give it the edge you hear in the song. The bass hits some good frequencies though, not bad.

The strings could use some adjusting on the ADSR envelope and some extending of the high+low mids. Increase the attack and give it some more high end. If you have a tremolo patch, try that instead for the intro. Use a warm synth patch as the drums kick in.

The drums sound okay, but give it some compression - quick attack, slow release, try a ratio of 4:1 and tweak the threshold til you find the sweet spot, not too flat but still kicking - and some really subtle eq to bring out the hats and the kick.

Good luck!
