I usually order from amazon uk. My pre-orders have always arrived on day of release in the past, so I'm expecting the same with Mylo Xyloto

So, to clarify, if you pre-order with amazon.com/.co.uk and get free super saver shipping, your cd will arrive on release date?

I believe that is the point of a pre-order, to get it to you on the day of release (if all goes well) :) Don't think the shipping option selected changes it in these cases!

I used to think this, but there were a lot of complaints about FIFA 12 arriving late to those who preordered it, and now I'm not to sure what to do.

I called up amazon uk customer services and asked them what to do.

 

They told me that pre orders work on a first come first serve basis, so if you were one of the first to preorder it, you will be in the first batch sent out. They told me they don't guarantee release day delivery, but they try their best.

 

I still don't know what to do!

Isn't there an option for you to get it on the day of release? That's what I've heard....
