Before you guys all comment with " LOL U STUPID IDIOT U NOT LIKE COLDPLAY, LEAVE DA FORUMS NAO!" I'm going to say I do like Mylo Xyloto. I've listened to many songs from it several times, but I think it could have been better.

 

Coldplay should have been a classic rock band. Back when I heard my first Coldplay song, yellow, I thought they were a classic rock band.

 

They would have made more original stuff instead of copying Radiohead and U2 so much. (but they would still copy The Beatles).

 

How awesome does this sound "Coldplay FT. The Beatles" or "The Beatles FT. Coldplay."

 

They wouldn't have the annoying vocal effects and the midi instruments.

 

Radiohead fans wouldn't hate Coldplay so much.

Yeah, i think everyone agree's this a good album, pretty solid, but with out Eno, it would have been a masterpeice

Honestly, I don't know if Coldplay would have kept making music if it weren't for Eno. Maybe once they move away from him they'll make a true masterpiece album. But as of right now, I'm just thankful for Eno restoring their confidence as a band.

 

Also, that first post was a joke... Just to be clear...

I love the album, but I do think their best stuff has yet to be made, MX is another stepping stone for them to be the greatest fucking band ever.
