"Square One" sampled for Rockie Fresh's "Doesn't Matter"

Featured Replies

Coldplay's influence runs far and wide, personally I think it is great to see how many artists from various genres can appreciate Coldplay's work. Aside from the name of the song itself, it is interesting to see how the beat develops from the sample (shortly after "it doesn't matter who you are...").

I think I like it.

Thoughts?

i think it sounds cool.

i'm not such a fan of the rap bits, though, and i have to say that the ending doesn't really fit in, or at least it could have had a smoother transition. :P

yeah I do agree with that

Funnily, it's Chris' collaboration with rap stars that made rap a bit tolerable for me. At the Midtown Music Festival in Atlanta, last September, I even joined in Jay-z's 99 problems...... and felt a guilty pleasure. The place was rocking as we waited for Coldplay to take the stage.

I don't really like it, mainly because of the lyrics.
