October 30, 201213 yr That's exactly the problem. It's pretty much the same as almost every FPS game. There's nothing to set it apart from other games like Battlefield, Medal of Honour, Homefront, an endless list of other generic first-person shooters. I'm not saying Call of Duty is a bad game exactly, (I've had quite a lot of fun the few times I've played it) but I prefer games with a bit more imagination and effort put into them. Halo comes out perhaps every 2 or 3 years (not counting spin-offs like ODST or Wars) and you can tell that the developers have spent a lot of time making it a fresh and exciting experience. To me, Call of Duty feels like they just take the last game, improve the graphics a little, add a couple new weapons and slap a new name on it. I guess I agree with you. Barely any games are revolutionary anymore. Kinda agree with the Halo thing.
