Will I be let into a concert?

Featured Replies

Hi, I recently bought 2 tickets for myself and my friend to go see Coldplay in early June in London. I bought these off eBay for a higher-than-face-value price.

I was just wondering whether we will be let into the concert with these tickets. Do the promoters go on eBay and look for tickets in which you can see the ticket numbers in the pic (you could on ours) and cancel those tickets because they've been reselling for a higher price? Help appreciated.

It can and does happen which is why you're encouraged to buy only from an official source. Best is to keep your fingers crossed and hope it's not an issue. I have a ticket for Madrid that my paranoid brain tells me it looks incredibly suspicious.... But I will go to Madrid and prey it's not a problem. Before I bought, someone on here said they got tickets from the place before, so that gives me hope.

Good luck!!

will also depend on whether they are genuine tickets or fakes.

Silly seller selling tickets with the ticket number visible, at least cover part of the number up.
