The Office Season 8 Thoughts and Reviews

Featured Replies

I think it was by far the worst season yet but somehow still managed to not tank completely. What do you guys think?

I liked this season for some reason but the show has been down hill since like season 5... i feel like next season will be the end but maybe david wallace will bring something new to the table, i have a good feeling about him. i also liked andy as the manager but i already hate catherine tate so that didnt work for me.

Also the thing i liked about the office in the past is that those are realistic office situations but now the situations in the office are like ridiculous and unrelatable, like some workers winning the lottery? it was too unrealistic for it to be relatable too and idk the office had situations that arent too far from reality. now it has gone downhill

I haven't watch the show since the end of like Season 5 or 6 or something

...they should've ended the show after like season 3-4.

Season 3/4 was still the highlight of the show. Season 6 was when it was pretty bad, but Season 7 regained itself.

I've been an Office fan since about Season 5, and I wanted so bad to watch this season. It's definitely the worst, but still very much watchable. I'm just glad Sabre is gone once and for all. That's a wonderful sign.

I think the total opposite. How is Office Olympics the least bit realistic? How many offices would do that? How many offices would have such an idiot boss for 15 years? That's what made The Office so good.

Things you could never do in a real office.

When Season 6 came, "real world" scenarios became more prominent, and it got old really quick. Season 7 was good, because it brought back some silly things. A lot, too. And Michael was still around.

They should have left it at the British one.

I disagree I bated the British one I found zero humorous in it. Ricky Gervais brings nothing to the table that Steve carell does.

Then I think you've misunderstood the point of the show.

I do get it its supposed to be dry sarcastic humor and the u.s. accomplished that but there's a fine line between dry and boring and I just thought the u.k. was boring.
