Jochelle Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Some bits in the 2011 animated feature 'Mars Needs Moms' remind me of MX. Am I seeing things the wrong way or am I on to something? I want to know what you think. The movie's striking relation to MX: 1.) The main character's name is Milo. 2.) 'Set' in Mars, the aliens look a tad like 'Mylo' in the Mylo Xyloto comic book. (Okay maybe Martians/aliens are depicted the same way over and over again.) 3.) The colors & vibe in this photo (of Milo and Ki) ring a bell. See for yourself. 4.) Ki, an "optimistic Martian girl", likes to paint elaborate GRAFFITI on the walls of Mars (a planet devoid of color, emotion, and anything fun).
