Spider-Man
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLdIQsw7igQ]The Scientist - Coldplay (Cover) - YouTube[/ame] This guy has put out some amazing Coldplay covers. This tuning he is using for The Scientist is amazing. I think it might be eadgcc but I'm not sure. If somebody could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. Charlie17
i bet you're right with the tuning. you like it better than this (just out of curiosity)? I think i might like CM's version better although this version allows you to kind of play both lead and rhythm parts simultaneously. The version in this video is definitely just standard tuning with the high E tuned to C. every time I've casually played this around people, it gets a quick look or two cause it's unique sounding. especially the Dminor chord played on the tenth fret. Charlie17
Check out this little acoustic cover I did with the high e tuned to c. Have you tried playing it this way? That guys rendition is good no doubt though. https://soundcloud.com/cedmo013/the-scientist
