First line of the first page

Featured Replies

Listening to the album X&Y and the line "First line of the first page" caught my attention. Sooo, Coldplayers, post the first line of the first page of the book you happen to be reading if you are reading one.

Mine is "They said I was a drug addict".

I'm glad you like it [emoji4] We can write the book title if we want. The one I posted above is from Rachel's Holiday x

I'm reading two books at the moment and the first lines are:

" 'When the hand goes up...' "

And

"People were staring."

By the summer of 1995 my time poncing about onstage was running out and I knew it.

As said by Matt McGuinn in Roadie.
