Twitter
Coldplay Drummer, Will Champion, has shared what he has been up to during lockdown. Will has been gardening, cooking and vacuuming along with reading Australian crime novels with his favourites being Jane Harper and Chris Nammer. During lockdown, Will has also been listening to Nils Frahm and Jon Hopkins. He has also been watching videos of 'the bluegrass legends' Molly Tuttle and Sierra Hull! lennyrott1
Nice shoutout to Molly Tuttle and Sierra Hull. I grew up listening to a lot of bluegrass & americana. It's one of those genres that I think most people can jump into and have a great time plus it has roots across the world with other types of folk music. I've always wanted Coldplay to go all out folk on an album and do that Viva/Mylo era thing where they were recording with accordions, horns, etc. The original "Wedding Album" probably would have been my favorite. We need more of: Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground, Til Kingdom Come, Lukas/Famous Old Painters, Prospekts March.
