musiclover Posted February 29, 2004 Share Posted February 29, 2004 i personally think Make Trade Fair or what Bono is doing with AIDS in Africa, etc., can only do so much...they act as moral pressure on decision-makers in the rich countries...in ground reality, only poor countries themselves can fight back as a group...i really enjoyed/relished how the Cancun talks crumbled because India/Brazil/South Africa/China stuck together and formed G-20 to not give up so easy...
