  3. And so lying underneath those stormy skies
  4. This evening I was at a kind of pub/restaurant with some colleagues. Opposite me was a screen on the wall that showed music videos and ads, but with no sound, and I occasionally glanced at those because there was no conversation. At some point, some kind of castle was on the screen, and I had the feeling I had seen it before somewhere but I first I thought it was an ad. Next, I saw an Indian procession, and the feeling of deja-vu got more intense, but I totally couldn't place it ! Then the video title popped up underneath and it said "Coldplay and Beyonce - Hymn For The Weekend", oops :D So I watched the HFTW video with no sound until someone who couldn't see the screen from his seating angle asked me if I'm alright and why I've been staring at the wall, lol.
  5. All right, here's a new one and this time I'd better not forget it again :joy: ????????? ??? ??????, ?????? ?? ?????
  6. Oldplayers, apart from being convinced that some numbers are better than others (oh no) are not very good at counting, that's right. They think that after one, two, three comes "Will", the only number with decimals they can handle is 1.36 and beyond 42, there is not much for them. Also:
  7. Got one eye on the road and one on you
  8. Your skin, oh yeah your skin and bones
  9. Never seen that before, cool. Also, Chris knows Kinder Schokolade, yeah, the best one ! :D
  10. no... Hint: an unreleased song
  11. Imagine a song from Chris just called "J"....about Jonny...... :)
  12. Have you checked out the Oldplaying thread http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/the-ultimate-oldplaying-thread-s-bs-tbr-p-arobtth-x-y-vlv.104785/ ?
  13. WHAT ON EARTH DID I JUST WATCH These face-morph visuals are gonna haunt me in my nightmares for sure ! And generally what a weird video... Is this guy really in Coldplay ? (pun intended)
  14. I hope you didn't get permanent ear damage :p
  15. You still have until tomorrow to vote for your playlist and date. We currently have a tie between Live2003 and Live2012, so we need to resolve that as well ! :) Maybe you also want to vote @iamsue @AMDB9 ?
  16. That is my nightmare. I always double and triple check it's really plugged in before I turn anything on (a little too obsessively now, probably, but ever since it happened to me on a train with a classical music symphony some years ago and I felt so embarassed...) But yeah, better this than the beginning of Live 2003 :P
  17. I'm grateful that Coldplay has finally, after such a long time, released a song that I truly love and that makes me feel something. Day 2 and I just can't stop having it on repeat during work...
  18. And I always associate it with this questionable song: :joy:
  19. That's one of the main reasons why I love Coldplay :) By the way, it has been mentioned a few times now already, but I also love the way the drumming subtly sneaks into the song halfway through ! That transition is so well done.
  20. LMAO
  21. I am also worried about the generic title of AICTAIY, but then I remembered that I also thought Fun was gonna be some big dancepop hit and then it turned out to be quite the opposite...
  22. jump over the side
