A lot has already been said by @Captain Crieff and @Safy, but I just wanted to add: An army in which sometimes the soldiers themselves are not able to reconciliate the atrocities demanded of them with their conscience and speak out about it. Have to say I'm very disappointed as well, to put it mildly. Last time I checked Coldplay were still on the side of the weak & powerless (and I mean that regardless of where in the world). Now posing with occupiers ? You do know that human rights organizations like Amnesty International, which Coldplay supposedly support, have charged these people with human rights abuses and war crimes numerous times, yes ? What were Chris and Jonny thinking ??

I just listened to Natalia Imbruglia - Fun (the song written by Coldplay and given to her, along with Lukas) for the first time...and apart from the fact that it has the line "Didn't we have fun", which I'd already hear about, I was so surprised that the melody in many parts is similar/almost exactly the same as in Paradise !

So if I read that correctly, the DNC has voted a candidate of the "establishment" as their chairman today instead of the guy close to Sanders ? I think that could be the wrong signal again, I was hoping they would have learned from the mistake of running with Hillary rather than Bernie as their candidate. If they continue to give off that image of an uninspired, self-serving party for the elite, they will lose out in the next elections again and then we'll be stuck with a Republican majority for ages.... What do you think @guy42 ?
