I just found out that you can turn The Scientist into an upbeat song by listening to it at 2x speed. And Clocks and Viva 2x sounds like EDM. AOAL 2x sounds like a phone ringing.

Don't forget the terrible production in DLIBYH and AHFOD the title track - I liked the latter when it was played life but the studio version does not live up to it...

To be honest that's not really what I meant, although I would agree with that too ! I simply meant that I noticed a certain melancholy/not-so-happy heaviness in it and I'm wondering if this is just me reading it into the song or if others have noticed that too.

I have nearly all Coldplay albums as a single mp3 file. I prefer this way of listening to playlists ! :)

I can't help but notice a certain melancholy/heaviness in the main instrumental melody of HFTW. Feels a bit as if the happiness in it is forced. Am I the only one to think like that about HFTW ? Or does someone agree ?

So you shuffle the songs and don't listen to entire albums consecutively ?

Agree about the sudio ending being messed up. I actually like the part starting with the final "epic" Oooooaaaahs Oooooaaaahs but then the "Believe in Love" feels so disconnected and weird !

I don't know but I am sure it has to do with Chris Martin's recent mentioning of donuts in his latest Global Citizen video /s

Yeah that along with the "put your wings on me when I was so heavy" is the best part of it. But all in all, I don't like the song. I very rarely listen to AHFOD at all, except for Fun and sometimes Birds...
