[NEW] Details from a Coldplay performance: post your observations!
Which performance is this taken from? By the way, I have also found one in which you can hear Will's voice quite well, even though there are all the other noises and it's overdubbed with Beyoncรฉ's voice backing track. Around 2:50 - 3:00 ''I feel you coursing through my blood, life is a drink your love's about'' And of course the ''aah oh aah oh aah'' part in the bridge you were talking about around 3:50 - 4:00

[NEW] Details from a Coldplay performance: post your observations!
Thanks for sharing, I love this! I love Will's backing vocals and know he can sing well but I have to admit that (sometimes) especially in this song he's not the best at singing those (high) bits. But it doesn't surprise me, as I already mentioned, it's pretty high notes and it's definitely NOT easy to sing. I absolutely can't do it any better. I think you just have to practise and practise and need the talent Chris has to be able reach and sing those high notes well (in any song).

Ooohh I was always wondering what the hell was wrong, but you made it clear now! So he basically lost the the number of ''ohohooohohs" and was confused how many more to come until the beat would drop, lol.

By the way, I get what you mean but my point was simply that Will's voice can be heard really well in this song. Normally it's much harder to hear him sing. Also, I edited the "big" post and noticed that it again needs to be approved by a moderator, sorry. So you won't see me editing it ever again lol.

[NEW] Details from a Coldplay performance: post your observations!
There's one thing I've been wanting to post for a long time but never did so here it is. Most of us know Will does the backing vocals in nearly every Coldplay song (that has backing vocals). But it's just so hard to hear Will's voice many times, talking about live performances. I found one performance where Will's voice can be heard really well, it happened to be in performance of Orphans! In the second verse Will's voice can be heard quite well during the lines ''he would know just when and what to sow''. Especially the 2nd part of this line (''...just when and what to sow''). Listen from 1:22 to 1:27 In this performance , only a few months later, you can hear his voice very well maybe even louder as any other instrument for a brief moment. Funnily enough, it has the exact same effect like the previous performance. During that line. Just listen to how loud Will's voice is! Especially in ''...just when and what to sow''. Listen from 3:12 to 3:18 I noticed that for some reason Will's voice sounds definitely heavier or lower in (this particular part of) Orphans compared to other songs. Simply maybe because his mic was turned up a lot. And it made me realize that his voice isn't as light as I always thought!

[14-3-2021] Chris Martin to perform @ the 63rd GRAMMY Awards 2021
I still think it's a shame Chris didn't play any Coldplay song(s) at the Grammys. But the fact that he chose not to play a Coldplay song was due to the absence of literally all members of the band, a conscious choice I think. Pretty sure the full band would have performed a Coldplay song at the Grammys if there wasn't a pandemic going on.

๐ช Coldplay: Music of the Spheres ๐ช | Out Now! | Discussion
Some of us might have noticed and some maybe not but we've gone a little bit off-topic since few days now! I created a thread specially for the 63rd Grammy Awards, couple of days ago. So if you'd like to discuss or talk about anything related to the Grammys you can do it there before and after the show: [14th MARCH] Chris Martin to perform at the 63rd Grammy Awards Show It might be a bit easier to follow for people on the forums and different topics won't get mixed up.

Music Of The Spheres Track List
There's also something in Chris' notebook I really enjoyed reading. The little things and the way Chris writes about the others is so fun to read! This is from the ''Paradise work'' page ''Bring in : Guy magic : Jonny magic'' That's just so Chris.... And so true!!! Made me smile while reading it

Music Of The Spheres Track List
I'm convinced that Car Kids and Charlie Brown are 2 different songs. As @MarckozZ and @42Escapist mentioned earlier, the notes from the Chris' notebook prove it! Some of Car Kids' lyrics (maybe?) could (still) be: ''I don't need the feed'' ''Show(?) to make it twisted lettering'' ''No power to the tower'' Chris also wrote down the unofficial setlist for MX including some of the songs we now know as the b-sides, such as MTM (Moving To Mars). So back then, Car Kids was a candidate for the album and was listed as the 5th track (of 14) on MX right after Charlie Brown in his notebook.

[14-3-2021] Chris Martin to perform @ the 63rd GRAMMY Awards 2021
Actually I don't know if that's supposed to mean that they won't perform a Coldplay song. Perhaps they pick one (Brittany/Coldplay) song, but that wouldn't make any sense. I don't think the 2 of them wrote a song specially for this show. I'm thinking maybe they will be doing a famous song cover?

The Grammys (presented by CBS) will take place on Sunday, March 14. For more information go to ---> https://www.grammy.com/grammys/news Any thoughts on this event? A live or pre-recorded performance? Do you think Chris is doing a collab or perhaps Jonny joins Chris? And more importantly, will Coldplay win the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year (Everyday Life)!?! Let's discuss! U P D A T E: (15th March 2021) Chris Martin and Brittany Howard performed the iconic song ''You'll Never Walk Alone'' with Chris only playing piano and Brittany doing the vocals. Heartbreakingly, Chris did not perform any Coldplay song at the GRAMMYs stage and Coldplay did not win the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year.

๐ช Coldplay: Music of the Spheres ๐ช | Out Now! | Discussion
Woah, the song(s) would sound much better if Jonny joins in indeed. But I think it's going to be Chris alone, because the Grammys announced ''Chris Martin of Coldplay'' and I don't think W, G nor J will be joining Chris since they probably want to set a good example during the COVID pandemic these days. It would be a big surprise though!

Amazing Day
I always heard the similarities between Amazing Day and What A Wonderful World. Listen to the violin section in Amazing Day (4:07) and then listen to the intro of What A Wonderful World. It's almost exactly the same.

Amazing Day
Yes indeed. I just listened to it. Same tempo as well it's quite a nice song!
