Yes! I share your thoughts too. I find it such a shame that (some of) Jonny's guitar solos and/or riffs sound so gentle that you can barely hear it on the studio version. For example, Jonny's guitar riffs and solo (near the end) on Paradise live is 100 times better than just that one string 'solo' in the studio version. Don't Let It Break Your Heart is also one of those songs where you can barely hear J's riffs. Only the people that know what Jonny is playing on the track know that the guitar is constantly there. DLIBYH Live 2012 made it sound more 'alternative'. And there are many more of course. Cemeteries Of London as well....

And more songs. I think we already heard half the album before they officially released it. They did that Tidal X performance in the Belasco Theatre in LA, in I think it was November 2015, as well, where they have played 4 new songs in total of which 3 were played live for the first time such as AHFOD, AOAL (was released on that day) and Up&Up. Which was really cool. Playing new songs live without having them released first is an option and it doesn't sound like a bad idea to me at all =D

Are you sure that I think they recorded multiple versions of E-LO and had to decide which one was the best so they released one and left the other versions for what it is?

Exactly! I feel like many people already think it's official already but it isn't, right? Again, I am also hoping for new Coldplay stuff to come this year but we have to remember that all of this could be wrong information. I hope it's not.

No, not yet. I actually think the question should be; is this rumour true? On the one hand I'm of course hoping the rumours that say 'Coldplay releasing 2 albums in less then a year' are true but still it's so easy to spread false information with just an article and make people (in this case, Coldplay fans) believe that it is actually true. On the other hand if it's true, the first album which will be the experimental one might be full of older songs where they have been working on in the past but they have never made it to an album for unknown reasons. It would be great if they put unreleased things like Car Kids on an (experimental) album like this. The only reliable source for us is time at the moment. We will have the real answer to Coldplay's experimental album when November is over.

I was thinking about that too. There's no way they have come all the way from London to Malibu only to pay a visit to this party. They are making plans about releases or are either recording new music. This would make much more sense. I don't know if it's just me but I still believe that we will get something new from them this year already. If not this year then early next year. At least, before the 2nd half of 2020. I have faith in that.
