Why everyone worked up about lyrics? Music to me, is all about sound, (this is 100% true with reversed music) lyrics are words. Then again, some lyrics can be relatable in the world with people, I understand that. But that’s not what I look for to enjoy music, it’s all about the sound, instruments, vocals. Etc. so I don’t know what are bad/lazy lyrics to be honest. So when people say that? It goes over my head. I will never understand them... Then again, lyrics in parody songs can be funny...but that’s a whole different story. Anyways I give Higher Power a 8/10

Up&Up vs Higher Power

Can you imagine if they went full hard rock or metal instead of pop? I don’t think so....

Orphans feels less, because EL wasnt promoted that much at all and not mainstream. Sadly

It’s actually I’m Like A Broken Record backwards. However the words: I’m Like and Record aren’t pronounced correctly, I guess that’s part of being a broken record as well.

Maybe a dark sounding song like Midnight and Yes?

I know if I'll the song just with one listen. I say 90% of the time. That's it. I only need one listen to decide. It boggles my mind how people need multiple listens... The first time I heard ASFOS back in a computer class in High School in May of 2014, I instantly fell in love with it. And that was just one listen. Higher Power for me, a tie with ETIAW.

Intro is lovely and especially the end! Melody is amazing, lyrics, (I more of melody/vocals type person, lyrics dont matter to me to be honest. More about the sound than words is what makes Music) lyrics are good I guess, again I dont care what the lyrics are, as long the message is good behind them.

That's three things this Early May! Higher Power release, BBC RADIO SHOW, American Idol on the 9th and the opening to Brit Awards May 11th! This a lot to take in.
