Just caught the preview clip of the new Talk, and DANG, they weren't kidding when they said they recorded a different version of it! :lol: The intro doesn't sound all that terribly different (but it still is), but when Chris starts singing you really notice it. I kinda liked the "Under the great North Start-----try to work out where you are" start though before, but hey, I'm sure if Chris thinks this version's better, then it is. Wildly different singing! WILD I SAY!!! :stunned: Can't wait to hear FULL VERSIONS OF ALL THE SONGS! :D JUNE 7 :D :D

ya know what though...I just listened to the clip of Swallowed in the Sea and the lyrics are slightly similar (ok, based only on one line that caught my attention--"get lost and then get found"----in Solid Ground its "oh i once was lost and now I'm found..."). I know, Debs DID say in a Q&A once that Swallowed in the Sea was NOT Solid Ground, but, hey, she also said that Talk would definitely NOT be on the album now didn't she?! :P (just my mind ticking away late at night I'm sure :P :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: )

I've bee following the Solid Ground developments very closely for the past 2 years lol. Debs actually said that when the album is released we will know it, but she also said it will definitley turn up somewhere. This might mean that (since she told us it will definitely show up somewhere) when the CD is released and if its not on there, then we will simply know that its IS going to be a b-side. :confused: err, I hope :P

I requested for Pittsburgh, Philly, and Columbus. No emails yet. I've been going crazy checking for them :o :P

hey i was just reading waaaay back in the pages here about ripping the CD so I figure I'll give up my suggestion now anyhow, without reading through the rest of the pages (sorry if someone else suggested it lol)....but what about iTunes?

what are torrents though? what type of files are they?

All I have is KCRW and that was like 2 months ago lol. I don't have all kinds of time to search around these forums and trace people and their files down any more (no longer at school----now at home with lousy dial up). I read on here that people have been hearing live songs from Coachella and maybe one or 2 other shows, but I have not seen these files anywhere. Can anyone help me? Has anyone seen this? Not that I watch that damn stupid show (SNL is soooo much better and funnier), but just a day or so I ago I was scanning through the channels and came across Comedy Central playing an old episode in which there is a spoof os the Scientist video. The same guy who plays that baby in those reoccuring skits plays Chris walking backwards (just walking backwards--no effects) and singing forwards with altered lyrics that are poking fun at Chris and the band and such. I believe the song was renamed "The Narcicist" lol. I think I remember one line from the song being "I am the new Bono" or maybe "I want to be the new Bono" or "I'm trying to be the new Bono" or something like that. There was also some stuff about the paparazzi, Gwyneth, I think Apple, trying to write songs that mean something. Just kinda interesting and I've never seen it before. :rolleyes:

seems like a lot pf people have been ahving trouble with tickets lately. hopefully when they come around these parts i won't have any trouble

I'm sort of thinking that maybe her saying that we'd find out when they album comes out could also mean we'd just find otu whether or not its on the album or gonna eb a b-side. Then again I doubt they know what songs will be b-sides yet for some reason, I don't think they have the singles planned out yet or anything.
