  1. Doesn't matter, I'll grab that one elsewhere. I'm looking for the Life in Technicolor ii vinyl on Parlophone at the moment, they don't seem to come up that often :-(
  2. There's a Paradise promo on ebay right now. I'd try to bid, but they want $40 to ship to the UK which is ridiculous! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251031082484
  3. I've been trying to build up my vinyl collection, as I have most of the CDs (I only collect the Parlophone ones). Managed to buy a 12" numbered Blue Room EP recently for just £24, so I was really pleased with that! One CD I'd really like though (for a half decent price) is the EU promo of Lovers in Japan!
  4. Hi chums Let's discuss CD and record collecting here! EDIT: The Coldplay Discography Guide site is a great resource: New, unfinished version Old, more complete version.
  5. Looks pretty good to me, though I've never seen one before. Interesting!
  6. They're just really thin resealable plastic sleeves. I'm trying to replace them TBH, as they don't offer too much protection. Lots of stuff available here - http://www.juno.co.uk/dj-equipment/cd-jewel-cases
  7. Where did you find them for that price?
  8. Here's what I have. I've focused mainly on UK CD releases - each item is next to its promo. Still looking for lots of items I don't have, as and when funds allow.
  9. Just a quick post to let you know I've added 3 new pictures to the album here: Example: PC043477 by PGMorris, on Flickr

  11. Wow, I can't believe you went down there without tickets and got let in! I wouldn't have even thought to do that. Would have been really annoyed if I drove several hours to London and then didn't get in though... Very pleased for you and glad it was a good show too, can't wait to see it on TV!
  12. Cool vid... damn the audience and their out of tune crooning!
  13. I think we are totally on the same page, I agree that GPASUYF should be a 'staple', as it's one of their all-time best. I was really pleased that they played the extended (IE live) version of Life is For Living at Glastonbury this year though, that is one of my top five live. It's incredible. We need that sort of variety. Square One might be good to slip back into the set too!
  14. Really? I loved Daylight and What If in the set. I think though that Coldplay need to stop pretending to be a pop band: IE they need to start playing two hour shows with less running around (Chris tires himself out!), more album tracks and more variety between shows. For example, when I saw them in 2008 they played techno versions of GPASUYF and Talk, which were great. Also, I think Don't Let It Break Your Heart, UFO, and Christmas Lights would have made it perfect for me. Why didn't they get played? Never once have I heard them play Life In Technicolour 2, one of their best, or indeed Glasses of Water. However, none of this takes away from the fact that it was a top notch show. I loved it.
  15. Here's one more. PC043386 by PGMorris, on Flickr
  16. Just updated my post below (and flickr) so that the images are a bit higher quality :-)
  17. OK, it was a brilliant show - here are just a few shots: Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr Coldplay at Manchester MEN - 4th December 2011 by PGMorris, on Flickr
  18. It was a great gig - I'll post some photos later tonight! Really enjoyed Daylight and What If.
  19. Strangely the one I'm really excited about is Christmas Lights, and the song they 'haven't played in ten years' according to R42. ...I think it'll be a special show.
  20. Congratulations! It's cool that you appreciate what you've won and how special it is. It's awful that someone is trying to sell their plus one for £500. Shame more Coldplayers didn't win! Have a good time. PS - if you can't find anyone to go with you I will gladly stand in ;-)
  21. Oh well, hopes were too high :-( At least I'm going to see them tomorrow at the MEN!
