  2. Guy should gain some weight or drop the smoking. Those pants make him look like my sister's emo boyfriend, lol. :D
  3. ...and what about all the other songs on the album? Where did Chris get those melodies? lol What a loser.
  4. Tell your parents you'll skip a meal to buy it, since money is hard to come by these days. See how they react, LOL.

*squirms* Ahem... *would say something but is afraid voice will crack*
  11. This is what JD neglected to tell us about his experience scoping out Chris Martin's house. He saw Gwyneth locking lips with the hot 24 year old Brazillian gardener who was trimming their rose bushes!

I would totally roll my eyes right now but I don't want to be like mc_squared. ;)

You guys play with your food way too much. Speaking of which, I should probably go check on my sausage and breasts in the oven.
  14. It's true! Ivy league schools get to be the most selective about who they let in because of their brand-name; Harvard, Yale, Stanford, whatever. The quality of the education is good, to be sure, but you probably don't learn anything there you wouldn't learn at another lesser-known school (or your public library / Google / Wikipedia). Let's face it, this is the 21st century. Information is free, so why shell out 60K a year to get a diploma? Also, you hear a lot about the celebrities/politicians/scientists/businessmen who went to Harvard. But do you hear much about the Harvard grads who never amounted to anything? Or who murdered people, or went insane? Of course not. Harvard is only willing to take credit for the successes. ;)
  15. Actually she enjoyed the music on two levels - the first time for it's thematic and melodic nature, and the second time for its depth and texture. So arguably it's better to hear it in a low bitrate with crappy speakers first, because you can "re-experience" it later.
  16. My dad is an audio freak and we have a pair of $6000 speakers upstairs with a subwoofer. I set the receiver to Dolby Music and played it on a CD player with optical audio output... You can hear stuff that you never could with tiny little computer speakers or headphones. And Lost sounds like there are elephants stomping around :D
  17. *raises hand* I'm thoughtless! *everybody throws food*
  18. Mel, cute pic and story! :D I've still gotta get my copy of Viva (cause I haven't made it to town in a while) but when I do I'll post here asap.

lol yeah but as far as I'm aware she's taken. :P Plus I'm prolly a bit too young for her tastes!
  20. Ahh I sense a bit of jealousy! ;) Thankfully there's a way to deal with this - just go to her party and smile and congratulate her, etc. and keep in mind that no matter how many times you hear it, what school you go to really doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the end. These big-name schools are just businesses, set on increasing their brand-name recognition.

Oh trust me, I'm the same way. My idea of a date is spending time at Barnes & Noble and getting ice cream. Coldplay concerts would push the envelope of my risk-taking. ;)
  22. kk I fixed it.
  23. Cute guy, zeoir. Here's Justin Gaston, he's actually a part-time model and he's competing on a country-music TV show on ABC now. http://bp1.blogger.com/_9EG7LXCqPiY/SEs4B_W5x3I/AAAAAAAAFIE/4L9BRdFQCwY/s1600-h/Justin+Gaston+(13).jpg http://bp3.blogger.com/_qK2JPIIxkQQ/SFVz3Jj0PPI/AAAAAAAAKWA/QpTcT1Kmi20/s1600-h/JustinGaston-4.jpg Sorry about that last one, lol. I'm not sure how to use the "spoiler" button yet. :D

Hah, you really are naughty. :wink3: I like smart and sexy women who can look as good as you do in a bikini! Hotplay - That's an awesome banner but what's up with Chris's hand? It looks weird for some reason.
  25. Just... No. Don't even suggest it.
