  1. Interesting theory.... It might just be because after making more "ordinary" songs they feel like coming up with something entirely new, or they think looking back at the other album they should have tried more things out.
  2. That's because Chris loves his Jonny Boy so much:dazzled::jbcm:
  3. I wish we had something like this here!
  4. I agree, it's only for special artists for me as well. I love the internet for discovering artists so much, there are so many artists I would never have found. In fact I probably wouldn't be a coldplay fan without it, for me just hearing singles on the radio just isn't enough to really fall in love with an artist. Music streaming for sure has many negative sides but I would never be able to discover or own as many songs as I found through it. So appreciate both the old and the new technology:D
  5. That should be the name of a mashup
  6. I totally agree! I hardly ever buy digital music because I just feel like it's not really special. I can listen to the song on YouTube or Spotify or whatever, of course if I buy it digitally I actually "own it" but it doesn't feel like that because it's not much different from hitting play anywhere else. But having a CD makes it so much more special, you have something to hold in your hand, to look at and when you play it it automatically makes you enjoy the music much more just because it's special. You can connect so many memories with it. When I was younger I never bought CDs cause I didn't get the point if it, I thought it was just more complicated and forces you to always listen to just one album not your entire music collection. But luckily because of coldplay I decided to buy my first CD at some point just because I wanted to have something from them and now I love buying CDs so much! I don't care if anyone says CDs are dead;)
  7. Tonight I had a really awkward dream. I was watching a video of Chris singing on YouTube. He was in some movie or TV show and wrote a song for it and he was also singing it in that movie. For some reason it was the first time I was watching it (it was only some really short clip). I don't remember the lyrics or anything but I remember I loved the song right away and I was couldn't help myself having a huge grin on my face and then suddenly I was in the video and Chris smiled back at me and I was like OMG[emoji7] [emoji33] Then I actually had to look away from Chris smiling at me even though it was painful cause I was so happy that I thought I looked like and idiot smiling at him like this lol
  8. In my head I actually often say "AHFOD" the way you'd pronounce the letters in german lol
  9. I didn't listen to too many of their songs yet cause I'm not into EDM but maybe I will now. Love this version of Closer though!
  10. Strawberry Swing and AROBTTH
  11. When you're cold and wet you can wrap yourself in a towel and you'll feel warm and comfortable, almost like listening to Parachutes. Parachutes is an album by coldplay. Scissors
  12. I think I've even seen them on more than three occasions already... Anyway, definitely too many! But honestly, I prefer his bad taste in fashion to those kinds of celebrities who only wear the most expensive clothes and never wear anything more than once and care way too much about fashion. And this way at least we have something to laugh about!
  13. Hey guys, just dropping this here in case you want to join, we're doing a twitter watching party of Coldplay live in Toronto 2006 on Saturday!
  14. Watermelon
  15. I'm glad it's blurry and the text covers his clothes enough to kind of ignore that[emoji23]
  16. Sometimes it's like that for me as well cause it takes pretty long until I give some charts songs a chance
  17. I bought a Ghost Stories CD a few days ago which means it was my first day looking at that little booklet inside (idk if that has any specific name) and of course I studied every detail. I came across this sentence and it kind of changes everything for me idk..
  18. My most recent purchase was this beauty I'm listening to right now: I never thought about it too much but now seeing it next to my other CDs I gotta say it really has my favorite cover. And I finally own all studio albums! [emoji1]
  19. I think the only reason I know about them is because I watched their interview and performance during the pre-show of the VMAs cause I had no idea what else to do while waiting... I try my best to ignore charts and popular music nowadays lol even though I do like some famous songs of course (but I liked most of those before they were famous)
  20. Lol, I already changed my mind on this[emoji23] I guess my favorite band would change a lot if it wasn't Coldplay, now it would be TØP for me[emoji16]
  21. Been listening to and thinking about this song quite a lot recently: Are you searching for purpose? Then write something yeah it might be worthless Then paint something yeah it might be wordless Pointless curses nonsense verses You'll see purpose start to surface No one else is dealing with your demons Meaning maybe defeating them could be the beginning of your meaning, friend
  22. I'd probably faint. And when I'd be awake again I'd tell him how much I love them and ask if I can hug them and take a pic. (Not so creative I know) What if you were a special agent and your job was it to save the band from criminal organization who wants to kill them to as a revenge on you? (This one was inspired by the fanfic I recently read:P)
