After all it doesnt depend on your marks if you pass (some students still wanna be excellent) I dont care much, because those arent subjects Im interested in (at least most of them) and I can go to Uni if I pass, so I dont cate about marks.

I'm too lazy and honstly I feel like I already passed without having written just one exam. Which is not very motivating, and if I really do nothing it might not go well. I wrote my school leaving exams at the Progymnasium fours years ago, during the World Cup... and most matches were early and I didnt study. I fear the same could happen again. Anyway, yeah, I do believe that they are gonna do well. Its true that we have a lot of young players, but I believe that this is also a positive thing. The thing I'm worrying about is our goalkeeper, I fear Zuberbühler might not do well. Sometimes he been brilliant, but in some matches he was extremely disappointing. We dont even have to beat France to finish second of our group. But I really hope theyll beat them, I cant stand France (not the country, the national team) I agree with you about the Euro... and I really hope I can go there, I would be so disappointed if I couldnt. Its such a great thing to have a Euro in your country! So you are leaving out earlier than I will. I'll go to England on 11 July. But its great to have some time after my exams, I 'll probably go camping in the Tessin with some friends!

We dont really have a word for them. The word 'gangsta' would probably be the closest expression, which is used in German to describe those people, but I dont think its exactly the same.

It does actually. Just imagine it was very nice, it would make it even more difficult to say at home, practising maths. Anyway, I'm gonna learn with a friend of mine tomorrow, maybe this helps a bit. Damn whats the point in saying Alonso is arrogant if we're talking about Schumacher? I dont like Alonso at all, but I dont think he's arrogant either. But even if he was, this wouldnt change a single thing about Schumacher.

True, I learned my lesson, but honstly I dunno how I'd react in a similar situation. I mean she needed someone to talk to, which was perfectly ok, but this didnt mean that she was my best friend or so, but obviously she didnt feel the same. I agree with what you said about formalities. Sometimes I hate to be formal, because it's another way of being dishonest. But still you have to do it because everyone does. I talked about that with a friend.... it was about a person who was telling bad things about me in public and I knew about it. I told my friend that I met this person and he was just being nice and pretended nothing had happend. My friend asked me why I was talking to him and didnt just walk away. I said 'Because I cant.' I really dont think I could. I have to do those formalities because its called being decent. I do agree that it was better if they didnt exist. But if I would just refuse doing them, people would call me arrogant and unpolite. People wouldnt accept you acting like this even if it was a lot more honest. Yeah I think we need a thread about this because its a different topic. :wink:
