I haven't read anything by him, we only had to take one book for our oral exams in English, which is actually difficult to read. But it's enough, because it's extremely difficult if English isn't your native language.

So true, but hardly anyone admits that they dislike it because it's a famous author, which you are supposed to like. My German teacher once said that you can't dislike it if you understood it. She's so wrong!

Not really, you won't understand it anyway if you read it in German. :P

The language is horrible, you need so much concentration to read that even if German is your native language. Nah, I'm not gonna like it just because books written by Goethe are supposed to be good.

There are a lot of English tourists, at least I met many when I was there. I wasn't talking about people who live there. :wacko:

Good to hear that. I am shy in talking to people if I have to speak Spanish, because my Spanish not that good haha. But I see... I'm actually pretty nervous about leaving my country even though it's just for a few months, but still I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah and there's lots of English people over there, which might help you a bit at the beginning. I actually met more English people than Spanish people when I was in Barcelona. Still it's a tough decision to leave your country...
