Why is it not on this list though? Have they added more dates? http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/swings-both-ways-live-tour-announcement I'm happy for you of course, just wondering :)

Yeah I'm hoping to go! Think I'll try to get tickets for Birmingham because it's on a Saturday. If not, I'll try to get tickets for Manchester but it wouldn't be ideal if I have work the next day. Why can't he come to Liverpool or at least do more shows on a Friday/Saturday? :embarrassed: Copenhagen isn't on the list or did I miss something? I love the new album. I think it's his best album since Escapology. I particularly like 'Swings Both Ways' and 'Little Green Apples' is so beautiful.

Let's catch up on some sleep! but how?
Just drink coffee and Red Bull to keep you awake. Chocolate (and sugar in general) also helps. I sometimes had a nap after I got home from uni if I was too tired to do work. I often felt like I was wasting my time if I had exams/essay deadlines but I hardly ever did any work before 7 anyway.

Need your help: Going to Cambridge!
1) How does the public transports works? Are they well organized and secure? Is it easy to orient yourself in the city? There's buses but you can walk to most places. They seem alright but I can't say I've used them very often. I've never been to Cambridge on my own (one of my best friends studies there) but i'm sure you'll be fine, it's quite a small city. 2) I need a list of "cheap" shops where i can buy some cool clothes, something along the side of Zara, Bershka, H&M. Same as in any other British city. H&M, Oasis, Zara, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, River Island, Oasis, Next, New Look (not been to all of those shops in Cambridge but you'll find them in every city) 3) Places about music!!! CD shops or pubs or something similar Don't really know. I can ask my friend if no one else can help 4) How much does the life cost for a student? Like, per day for a whole week if i need to eat and pay for museums and go to shopping, at least how much I need? A lot of museums are free. It's quite expensive if you wanna see the colleges unless you know someone who studies at Cambridge. Food isn't cheap, I'd say £4-12 depending on where you go. It obviously costs more if you go to fancy restaurants. You can always buy a sandwich in a supermarket if you wanna safe money.

Going to Europe, need ideas
I got 77% That's somewhere around Hull. How random!

Going to Europe, need ideas
It depends on where you wanna go. Train tickets can be quite cheap if you book in advance. Coaches are much cheaper but they mightn't be ideal if you don't have much time. Where are you planning to go? I wouldn't just go to London, there are much nicer places in the UK.

Sending messages to the wrong person
I once complained about a work colleague because he called in sick on a very busy day (I was sure he was lying) and I sent the text to him rather than to another colleague. He never mentioned anything about it.

British Gas held a Twitter Q&A today. It was a… #PRDISASTER (even a Chris Martin got involved)
It is bad because many people in this country can't afford it. Pointing out that people in other countries are paying more isn't gonna help.

Anyone lives in London/Brighton/South East Coast area?
I didn't spend a lot of time in Scotland so I probably won't be able to help you a lot but here are a few tourist attractions that are worth visiting: Glasgow: - Pollock Country Park - Willow Tea Rooms - Buchanan Street and St Enoch Centre (for shopping) Edinburgh: - Go to the beach - Old Town - National Museum of Scotland - Edinburgh Castle - Edinburgh Zoo

I don't think it snows a lot but if it does snow, you mightn't be able to get there or you could get snowed in. If you're gonna be in the UK for a while, I probably wouldn't plan a trip for December... otherwise you just have to take the risk, I guess. I used to live in Liverpool and the whole city centre turned into an ice rink when it snowed for a couple of days a few years ago, it was so dangerous. I also got snowed in when I visited someone in Sunderland once  I'm guessing Scottish cities will be better prepared but you wouldn't wanna go there if it snows unless you absolutely have to. You should try to go to the Lake District if you get the chance, it's really beautiful. I wouldn't go in December though. http://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/ I would definitely go to York as well. If you do go, you should check out this place. It's slightly overpriced but it's lovely. http://www.bettys.co.uk/ You might also wanna visit some of the major cities in the North. Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and York are fairly close so you could easily visit all those places if you went for a couple of days. I really like Chester as well. It's much smaller but there are a lots of lovely buildings and like York, it's good place to go if you wanna see a traditional city. I would also go to Cheshire Oaks if you like shopping, the designer outlet is really good. I like Newcastle too but it's a bit further away. It's also a good place to go out. I'm sorry I've just realised that you also asked for recommendations for Edinburgh and Glasgow. I'm really tired so I'm gonna write more tomorrow.

Haha they sure deserve it! They once threatened to take me to court because one of my flatmates at uni hadn't paid their share of the bill.

Oh I see! Just go for it if you get the chance to ask him a question, I'm sure you'll be fine. :)

Robbie Williams...
Sorry for the late reply, only seen your post now. I went on the 30 June and I had a great time! I got home alright in the end. Lots of people were singing, it was good fun and the tube wasn't even that crowded (not compared to what it's like on my daily commute to work anyway). So jealous! What did you ask him? I think I'd ask him how being a dad has changed him. Have you seen this yet? Anyone lives in London/Brighton/South East Coast area?
I live in London. I made a few suggestions in the other thread so have a look there :) I've only lived in London for two years though and I don't know the South East very well. As for Scotland, Edinburgh is very pretty but very touristy. We stayed in a B & B by the sea and it was lovely. Can't remember what the place was called but I can have look if you're interested. We went in June a couple of years ago and it was really sunny and it almost felt like we were in Southern Europe  (We were very lucky with the weather though.) I liked Glasgow too, there's lots to do and it's less touristy which is why I kinda preferred it to Edinburgh. Are you also interested in going to the North of England?

UK: Worst winter for decades - Record-breaking snow predicted for November
Too bad I no longer work in Slough! They closed the office for a couple of days last year because they were worried that people won't be able to get home (most of us lived in London).

I'll visit London! Any Tips?
^ Try to go to Camden on a Saturday or Sunday so you can see the market and as Emma said, there'll be lots of street food. As for pubs and bars, I like Lockside Lounge in Camden and the Lexington in Angel. There isn't that many nice pubs in central London. I like the Crown & Two Chairmen in Soho. It isn't touristy, the people are friendly and the food is nice too. And they also have a really cute pub dog :) Also this place is really cool! http://www.wahaca.co.uk/ There's one in Soho :) I really like Hampstead Heath if you wanna go to a park. You should also go to Notting Hill/ Portobello Road. And you should go to Winter Wonderland if it's open when you're here. http://www.hydeparkwinterwonderland.com/ I've lived in London for about two years so let me know if you any questions.

1. Figure out what I want to do with my life career wise. 2. Stop complaining and make more of an effort to find a new job so I can finally move back to Liverpool. 3. Make the most of my time in London, explore new places and meet new people. 4. Join a gym, eat healthier and lose weight.

Do you prefer being..
I don't get it either. I don't really think that you can grow to love someone either. I'm quite picky when it comes to men, I'm not looking for someone who is perfect but the chemistry has to be there and most of the time it just isn't. I've gone on a couple of dates because my friends told me that I should give someone a chance but it never works out, I always end up getting bored. I would like to be in a relationship and I miss the companionship but I prefer being single to being with wrong person. Some of my friends constantly argue with their partners, I really couldn't be bothered with that.
