  1. You don't think those are one sided either? They make Israel look like a victim and make Lebanon look like the antagonist. I'm not saying they aren't, but there's two sides to every story and these only present half. Now saying this would have me believe you didn't even bother to read any of those articles.
  2. The actions of the federal government leading up to, during, and following the attacks on 9/11 show that this isn't as farfetched as they would like to have you believe. Once again I say to you, the evidence is right in your face. Not only is it written out in easy to understand captions, but every piece of information is cited.
  3. lol as Stephen Colbert brilliantly pointed out in his show last night, just because the majority of people believe it, doesn't make it true. He used Wikipedia as an example and encouraged people to say that the number of elephants has tripled in the last 6 months. And people wrote that in the article, and now it's locked from editing. Just cause something or someone says something's true, it doesn't make it true. I kinda feel bad for you and the millions of people who are falling right into the government's hands. :( The evidence is right in front of you to take. If you refuse it, that's your own fault. It's not mine or Gareth's or anyone else who has enough of an open mind to consider the possibility that all of this was a great plot to gain popular support for both the Republican Party and a slew of Middle Eastern wars.
  4. Insults - the lowest form of maturity. :dozey:
  5. Bono and U2 have been around forever, so he's definitely got SOME influence. Plus he's got that whole AIDS and Make Poverty History campaign going on. Unless they're only referring to music. But if they are only referring to influence in music, then Justin Timberlake becomes even MORE baffling!
  6. Justin Timberlake's not influential  WTF are they thinking?
  7. Actually I was imitating your previous post. Sarcasm is impossible to detect on the internet.
  8. If terrorists got a nuke, I doubt they would use it on America. Israel, most definitely. I could also see them using it on Egypt or an Eastern European city. Nothing too far away, regardless of their position on terrorism.
  9. Actually, I'm not implying anything like that. You just think I am cause I'm not giving an opinion you agree with.
  10. I must say you do a terrific Sean Hannity impression. I said nothing of the sort; don't be twisting my words.
  11. Yeah "Still Fighting It" is like my favorite, and "Gracie" is a nice sweet song. Anyways, I just spent the last hour learning the beginning of "The Ascent of Stan" on the piano. Ouch my wrists hurt!
  12. The United States is the country that wants to wipe terrorists from the world. ALL HOWEVER MILLION OF THEM!!!! Yet we have almost 10,000 nuclear weapons in our country. http://www.thebulletin.org/article_nn.php?art_ofn=jf06norris
  13. Yeah and Tony too. Still, the lyrics can be applied to basically anyone. I'd like to add Olmert to it as well.
  14. That's Ben Folds Five, right? Wow, I can't believe that album is 11 years old. Man, and it's still so good today. :D
  15. Hmmm this statement reminds me of something... oh yeah. :) "Muse - Take A Bow" Corrupt You're corrupt Bring corruption to all that you touch Hold You behold And beholden for all that you've done And spin Cast a spell Cast a spell on the country you run And risk You will risk You will risk all their lives and their souls And burn You will burn You will burn in hell, yeah you'll burn in hell You'll burn in hell Yeah you'll burn in hell For your sins And our freedom's consuming itself What we've become It's contrary to what we want Take a bow Death You bring death, and destruction to all that you touch Pay You must pay You must pay for your crimes against the earth Yeah hex Feed the hex Feed the hex on the country you love Now beg You will beg You will beg for their lives and their souls Now burn You will burn You will burn in hell, yeah you'll burn in hell You'll burn in hell Yeah you'll burn in hell You'll burn in hell Yeah you'll burn in hell For your sins They will ALL pay for their crimes against the Earth.
  16. I know you know we've already got a thread on this crisis. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31837
  17. Seconded. Anyone see the interview with Nabih Ayad on Hannity & Colmes? (it was on InfoWars, so I bet Gareth saw it) Hannity disgusts me. *shakes head* "Unbelievable"
  18. Ben Folds's Landed works pretty well, though I found that the chorus of Moby's Spiders gets me happy very very quickly.
  19. Yeah Philiosophy used to be my favorite too. "Get that bitch off somebody...scream it" That and One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces. I had those 2 songs for the longest time before I'm like...."hmmm Ben Folds?" and went out and randomly bought RtS. Good decision though :D Oh man and I just found out he's coming to a city near me in November! I'm definitely going to by tix once they come on sale. :D :D :D
  20. Hmm well this conflict has been described as a "proxy war" between the US and Iran several times... I'd hate to see our stance with Iran get much worse. But it will, because Iran's not going to relinquish their uranium enrichment technologies. (why should they anyways?)
  21. Ha me too. My favorite part's when Fred gets angry (and all of these BASTARDS have taken his place!) and (presumably) throws his canvas across his basement. lol I get all kinds of images in my head during that song.
  22. lol I don't really care for the song Rockin' the Suburbs either. Though I do like to listen to it when I'm pissed off. :wink3: Fred Jones Pt. 2 is one of my favorites, definitely. Cigarette as well (ie, Fred Jones Pt. 1), The Ascent of Stan (love the wicked piano), Still Fighting It, Philosophy... oh man I could go on as well. I'm really looking for some good sheet music too, cause listening to him just makes me want to jam. :D
  23. Ben Folds [Five] Anyone here as obsessed with him as me? Damn this song "Landed" is my favorite right now, but I've got Rockin' the Suburbs and I say it's an excellent album. :D
  24. I respect anyone who can do a decent cover of Paranoid Android. lol that song is impossible. haha I'm looking forward to hearing what else they got. :)
