X&Y....granny music? Are you serious? X&Y is the least granny of all three albums...

AHHHH. I wish people would just STOP BAGGING ON THE LYRICS!! They aren't that bad! What about all those idiotic rap and pop songs? They don't have amazing lyrics do they??? Like that new Black Eyed Peas song (just using them as an example since they have a new album too) "Dont Phunk With My Heart"...I'd take Chris Martin's lyrics over all that crap ANY DAY...... Just my opinion :cool:

Wow...I don't understand when people join messageboards just to bad talk the band. What a waste of time. ANYWAY, I missed the first half hour...and I tuned in right before The Scientist. It was so beautiful :cry: Haha, during Fix You, Jonny was saying how it was probably one of the most moving songs to him that they've ever written, and then Chris says something like, "Yeah and then you ruin it with your guitar!!" :lol:

One thing I love about this album is that it has a totally different (and really cool) effect if you listen to it with the volume turned up :) Everyone I've talked to have also been saying that they love this new album...even my sister who knows alot about music and the industry and all that. So if she likes it...it must mean its pretty good :D

I love X&Y...and for some reason, now that I own the actual CD, I love it even more.

The thing I like about his lyrics is that yes, they are simple, but that makes them easy to relate to and understand (the ones that make sense anyway, not like Clocks). That's one reason I love Amsterdam so much..because of the lyrics..

I got my tickets on Wednesday for August 21st at Irvine.. :D SO HAPPY I didn't have to do general sale.
