  1. ok ill do the maths for you. regular G forces felt by humans - 1G. this is also expressed at acceleration due to gravity which is 9.8m/s/s. so, 800km/h = 222.22 m/s. 222.22m/s to 0m/s in lets say effectivly no amount of time, because lets face it, the ground doesnt give under the plane. so, 222.22m/s divided by 9.8m/s = 22G. Military pilots are trained to take 9. 22G is survivable (only for an incredibly short amount of time), but it means your body is 22 times heavier, so if youre 70kgs, you weigh 1.54tonnes. and althought the plane has stopped moving, you still have inertia and you would go smacking into the seat infront of you and probably snap your neck. anyway, a plane made out of the same material as a black box would still crush like a aluminium can. if someone rolled a toy car at you at 5m/s, you could stop it with your finger. but if someone rolled a real train at you at 5m/s, you couldnt stop it if your life depended on it. a black box might weigh a couple of kilos. it doesnt have enough force behind it to crush the materials its made out of. if a plane weighs several tonnes, its going to have alot more kinetic energy and because of that the same material would still be useless. ok there. you tried to sound smart, and so did i  and i still stand by what i said about the camera. its highley likely that someone at any given point in time would have a camera rolling in new york. its not like they were professional news crews, was it?
  2. well im sure you can answer your own question about the indistructable material. but ill do it anyway. firstly it would be too heavy and expensive. secondly, it would be pointless. if a plane full of humans were to hit the ground at 800km/h, that would be stopping dead on the ground. so you decelerate from 800km/h to 0km/h in a millisecond. i could do the maths for you if you want, but basically the G forces along would be enough to kill everyone inside. its not about if the plane isnt all torn up, people would still be dead. and its new york, im sure there wouldve been thousands of tourists down on the street in such a city like that. i believe theres only 1 piece of footage (maybe 2?) of the first plane anyway, and that was taken by someone who was filming a policeman doing something in the first place anyway. even so, youre from the gold coast, you know how many tourists there are there. imagine if the same thing happened there, there would be hundreds of tourists (i wont mention of what race) with their cameras ready.
  3. i think anyone is an idiot to believe all the stuff on that movie. things like at the start when they showed the explosion and the so called 'missile' smacking into the building first was a load of crap i thought. but there is a good point later on about the black boxes. those things are meant to survive crashes. and im very sure that they are made to withstand jet fuel, no matter how bad the burning wreck is. so i have no doubt that the government may have covered some details up. for whatever reason either national security in investigating their own stuff, or to cover up any conspiracy. i dont know, but i think that happened at least. and as with most conspiracy theories, it was entertaining. which is why people watch them. its almost fun to think sometimes 'what if they were lying to us and this theory is true?'. obviously if that were the case in this instance, it would be awful to think that the government did this, but on things like the moon landing conspiracy its a bit of fun for me.. anyway, i still think it was terrorists, or some terrorist organistaion within the government maybe. but i still think that if you asked bush if he knew this would happen before it did, and he answered truthfully, i dont think he had anything to do with it.
  4. i agree that moses is the easiest to play. and the sound on the amp is so awesome. actually the lead guitar for that song that johnny plays is quite easy too.
  5. it just means that he will have to play the piano and guitar and sing with the baby in a harness in front of him.
  6. well well well, look who comes crawling back. you think you can blame your computer stuffing up for not posting here? WELL YOU THOUGHT WRONG! us REAL fans would go to the end of the earth to find a computer. but i forgive you. and yes we missed you much :)
  7. i dunno. when i first started playing, wrapping my thumb around on the E string seemed so awkward and weird. but you get used to changing your finger positions and you get to a point where you dont have to think about it. just muck around with it and practice hand positions.
  8. rapidshare.de although lots of people will bitch, it still works for 9/10 people. the concert was only streamed at 96k :( it sounds pretty shit really.
  9. yeah the crowd sounds quiet because of the mix i think. like on the live dvd or any live songs they've released, you want to hear the band, not the crowd.
  10. yeah thats what i meant.. if you flick the wine glass with your finger and it rings for ages, then that glass will work.
  11. its true. i bet she comes crawling back to our thread the week before the concert and begs forgiveness for her absence. and we will shun her.
  12. the glasses have to be thin rimmed. like a wine glass. if they are too thick then they wont do it.
  13. dont forget you have a thumb. its very useful.
  14. i think thats genious. it took me 2 clicks to get it, but when i did it made me smile.
  15. i know how! you wet your finger, and then circle it on the rim of the glass. and change the amount of water in each glass to get a different pitch... couldnt you have worked that out from the movie?
  16. the only reason i wouldnt walk under a ladder is because if the ladder slipped and fell on your head it would probably hurt alot...
  17. if you chose A, then thats a bad thing that would probably get you sent to hell anyway. so who cares, this is stupid anyway.
  18. or maybe! just maybe, he fake cried so everyone would think that and we'd all love him again and forget about baghdatis...
  19. oh dear, this thread was one spot away from being off the first page! ive never heard any youth group. i have lots of friends who tell me theyre good, so i think ill have to get their album.
  20. that made me squirm when he started crying. i dunno why, that dude shouldnt cry.
  21. i concur. haha you were moshing to white shadows.
  22. i read a story once of a guy in japan playing online games, and died of dehydration because he played for 4 days straight.
