Before reading everyone else's posts, I had thought of such a rush and don't panic. But as you said, the second one may not have too much to be said about the lyrics since it keeps repeating itself. Anyway, you can come up with great points from it. Besides this whole money related meaning, I think you could come up with subjects like people having no goals or perspectives in life, people's selfish, people's carelessness about the others and about the greater good... This ''rush'' thing can mean be related to lots of stuff in my opinion. I don't know, I guess it's all in your hands, Emily. :) I think it's a matter of which Coldplay song you like better because you've got plenty of material :wink:

Hmmm, let's see... Coldplay: No words needed. I got into music because of them and their songs can change all my humors. They mean love, definitely. :heart: Radiohead: Some people may say they're depressive, but I just can't see that. The messages beyond the songs are incredible and I just love to start triping with their music, figuring out what that certain verse or song, in general, could mean. :wacko: Keane: They appeared in my life all of a sudden. A concert changed everything: they're brilliant live, they have an incredible connection on stage. And their songs can be so bright, cheerful and happy...! :smug:

Ohhhhh, sorry to hear that. It may not be that nice :\ Hmmm, interesting. Last year I realized I was not into birthdays anymore. Just like ceolsige said (I'm sorry, dunno your name :( ), this year I'm turning 20 and becoming 19 was like a punch at my face. I thought about becoming an adult with lots of responsabilities, true and important decisions to make and everything else envolved. But, anyway, imo, I think it's important for you to try to do something different and special in some way when you become older. I mean, birthdays actually have a special meaning, you know.

I had this totally odd dream yesterday Coldplay went to my house and me and Chris became, like, best friends. :freak: Then I invited them to go to my grandma's house ( :freak: ) and they slept over there. In the middle of the night, when the guys were already sleeping, my cousins, out of nowhere, appeared with tons of bubblegum and they entered the room the band were sleeping and started to throw all pieces at them. The guys woke up because of the chaos, but they found it incredible amazing! ( :freak: ) My father woke up, grabbed a gun (what?) and started to shoot like crazy at my cousins. I've already shared this dream with everyone. Dunno why, it's a shame
