i was disappointed - all the songs are kind of unspectacular though solid, just not up to par with BTW and Californication.

IMO, UTIS has great tracks, like Atlantic and Bad Dream, and mediocre tracks such as Put It Behind You and Is It Any Wonder. Hopes and Fears is a more consistent album; every track is a stand-out track, with a few gems. Both are great albums, but if I had to pick one, Hopes and Fears would win out. I must say, Atlantic is one of the best songs I have ever heard. A great achievement.

these new recording sessions must be a govt secret because there is NO news about how the album is progressing, nor is there a release date. very frustrating.

there was no "leak". valerie plame's position in the CIA was known by many around Washington and was not a "secret" to be leaked. the press simply ran with that story for ratings, as usual.

she has presented herself as trash ever since her first video. she has demonstrated this through her antics IN PUBLIC, ie her clothing selection, grabbing her "husband's" crotch for photographers. she is a terrible example for girls and she has brought this on herself. she knows how the press will react to what she chooses to do. she also is a terrible representation of people in the South. no class, pure trash.
