I'm not sure he did use Christian's body. From what he said to Jack, you need to be dead for him to be able to look like you. If you're alive, he can't impersonate you. Which makes me wonder if Hurley really is seeing Michael or if its another of Smokey's tricks. but then the other side of your argument is that the seller either wants to sell his item or he doesn't. if he wants a specific price for it, he either makes it a buy it now sale, or he sells it through the small ads. he doesn't have to use a bidding auction to sell the item.

but it is illegal outside ebay. its fraud. auctions outside of ebay have been rigged, and where its been discovered those involved arrested. in those cases, someone pays people to attend the auction & put bids in to up the price. if you want a minimum amount of money for an item but want to encourage people to bid, you put a reserve on. that's what a reserve is for. you can then start at a low price to try to attract the bidding war, but if you don't reach the amount you want it won't sell.

did you watch the cinema version or the extended versions? I've watched both & the extended ones are defintely worth the extra time. i see why he chopped them though, coz I only just managed to sit through the cinema ones without having to leave for the loo :lol:

which one? I agree for the most part about adaptations ruining the book, but not always. I could never get into the LOTR books, but loved the films. Loved The Beach both as a book & a film. shopaholic was destroyed when it was made into a film.
