11-Mar-2010: Estadio Universitario, Monterrey, Mexico - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
The ticket said that at 20:00 hours on 11 March was the appointment in the University Stadium, so by 6:30 and was leaving home with Ninfa, leave my car at the condo where they live and Albert and JC we walked to the subway station is at Padre Mier, there we began to hear the comments of other people who also went to see Coldplay, all expectant and excited to go see them, I finally got the subway and boarded up get to university that was completely full of people ... Opening through the crowd we get out into the street and vintage T-shirts and other things we received, we decided to take a look and bought a shirt each and then went out with a pin, a wristband, a cup tequila and a cap also .. . Music could be heard but we do not hurry, and we see things, the group was sounding LeBaron, originating in the City had the opportunity to open to the English and there they were, doing its thing, but we still see each position and asking that he something interesting ... Ninfa and told him yes, we made our way back and walked to get access to our share, we made a long line but it moved quickly, check our tickets, we revised and finally entered the Uni .. Since I did not see my watch but I think we were like 8 passes when the lights went out and many people cried with emotion, appeared on stage a giant photograph of a wolf howling at the full moon in the background and then were some people walking on stage, the music started and was surprised to the pleasant voice of the vocalist, was the English band Bat for Lashes who gave a presentation very emotional and full of great music, I loved, I thought to myself that the concert began with the right foot ... tocaron una hora aprox. played one hours approx. luego se despidieron y se fueron... then they parted and went ... rápido se subieron los técnicos al escenario y quitaron sus cosas para poner las de Coldplay, mientras nosotros esperábamos al ritmo de varias rolas que pusieron de fondo, poco a poco el estadio Universitario se llenó... technicians quickly jumped on stage and took his stuff to put Coldplay, while we waited several rolas pace that put the background, gradually filled the Universitario stadium Once again the lights went out and appeared on the giant screens an image of Planet Earth, then zoomed in to see North America after Mexico, went to Nuevo León, Monterrey came up and advanced to become the University Stadium in the crosshairs, then opened the concert: D Chris Martin took us by surprise with Spanish speaking a decent enough mistakes but we thrilled to see their intention to connect to us ... y lo consiguió...todos estábamos entregados disfrutando su música e interpretación. and got it ... we were all enjoying their music delivered and interpretation. When they played "Yellow" yellow lights cast in the crowd and a giant yellow ball came out of nowhere and began to bounce among the attendees were many throughout the song and it went forward among the people who beat them to follow his eventful way, when you finished the song stopped seeing ... Throughout the concert Chris Martin saw a happy, she danced, ran, gasped, fell to the ground, worried about us since we saw that there were several people in front who were being pushed too hard we were asked us to move back to not hurt, even in some parts asked us to sing louder and there we were, screaming for him. The stage despite being single had two protruding arms that allowed them to come more to the public and actually hit a couple of pieces there, which we sang with all the enthusiasm ... otra cosa que nos encantó fue que se bajaron del escenario y empezaron a caminar entre la gente hasta llegar a un pequeño escenario en la parte media de la cancha, solo cabían los 4 parados y un poco apretados, pero tocaron varias piezas ahí en versiones acústicas y hasta el baterista cantó una canción, demostrando sus buenos dotes vocales... another thing we loved was that they got on stage and started walking between people until you reach a small stage in the middle of the stadium, only fit the 4 unemployed and a little tight, but played several pieces there in acoustic versions and even the drummer sang a song, showing his good vocal talents ... Other points that intrigued us were the explosions that threw a lot of colored paper butterflies, which flew over us graciously, were flying over thousands and all the people singing and shouting happy for the wonderful show we were witnessing ... también hicimos la ola pero con las luces de los celulares, todo a petición de Chris Martin y en español, la ola se hizo varias veces y se veía fenomenal... but we also did the wave with the lights of cell phones, all at the request of Chris Martin and Spanish, the wave is made several times and looked phenomenal ... There was some very well-timed pyrotechnics and colorful, which made us cry again presented a live Coldplay really hoot, very good sound, wonderful voice and a mutual surrender not as seen in this type of concert ... I kept wanting to hear "Trouble" and "Speed of Sound" and yet the concert I came, I filled it and left me amazed at how big it can be a group ... They promised to return ... http://terexe.blogspot.com/2010/03/coldplay-en-monterrey-conciertazo.html

11-Mar-2010: Estadio Universitario, Monterrey, Mexico - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
Honey You Are a Rock When I was 13, I was going through hell. Music saves you. And when I was 13, only "Green Eyes" could soothe me, calm me, relax me, and give me a moment to think and breathe and rethink the screams that were building up inside me. "Green Eyes" was not the first Coldplay song I heard. It wasn't the first Coldplay song I fell in love with, or the reason I began to buy their records. But "Green Eyes" had the power of making me feel at home. It's been said that there are more people in the world who hate Coldplay than those who love them. I, for one, do not understand who these people are. I've met these people, and some are friends. I've heard people say Coldplay's music is depressing, or pretentious, or stupid. I, for one, do not understand why these people believe this. I've been waiting for years for Coldplay to come to my city. And I've been planning that concert with my best friend, whom I made a pact with that we would not go to our first Coldplay concert without each other. Which is why, after many opportunities of seeing them live in other cities, we waited until we could both go to Coldplay's first concert in Monterrey. That was last night, March 11 2010, when the band played at Estadio Universitario to close their Viva la Vida tour. After a 10-hour bus ride from Austin and a 10-hour wait outside and in the stadium, my back out, my legs and feet sore, my eyes red and puffy from the lack of sleep, my mouth dry, the lights went out and I heard screams. Coldplay's songs are not about sex. Coldplay's songs do not have the word "bitch" in every other verse. Coldplay's songs are not about getting wasted, or the curve of a fine ass. Coldplay's songs speak of hope and urgency, confusion and dreams, they speak of loss and about finding a way back. They speak of belonging, friendship, possibility and politics and wishful thinking. They speak of freedom. They speak of fairness. Chris Martin's voice is not the finest. It's far from perfect. Weird, even. Chris Martin's voice is pure and honest, the sound of heartbreak. The sound of peace. When you see the four boys live, they look like just that- boys. Boys running around the stage, smiling tiny secret smiles when listening to the thousands of voices that know their music by heart. Last night I cried. At first I cried of frustration, pain, tiredness, and because my best friend was nowhere to be seen. In midst of the madness, we lost each other. And then I cried for the music. And no, I was not the only one. And no, it was not only girls that cried last night. Coldplay's music does not only speak to girls, it does not only speak to gay men (like many straight Coldplay-hating men would think). It speaks to the hopeless, or the worried, the excited and eager, the joyful, the madly in love, the indecisive. I tightly grasped a friend's hand last night while "Fix You" was playing. The lights bright and Martin at the piano, there was a silent wish that could be heard through everybody's singing. The beauty of their music lies in the impact it has in its listeners. After seeing them live, all I wanted to do was write. Write while the memory of "Shiver" was still fresh in my mind and the image of Will Champion's smile was still infectious. And like I wanted to get home and write, I bet a lot of people left wanting to play the guitar, or paint, or take a photography course, or dance and laugh, or play soccer with more drive and confidence than they had before, or with a greater reassurance that one day they will accomplish what they've been wanting to accomplish. "Green Eyes" wasn't played last night, and neither was "See You Soon", another one of my favorites. But it was an amazing night, a memorable night. And when I found my best friend outside the stadium after the concert, it did feel like the plan didn't go 100% like we wanted it to. But there'll be more nights like this, without the 10-hour bus ride and the sore feet. And for those who say they hate Coldplay, I hope for their own sake that they give their music another listen. All music has the potential of saving someone. http://meinsideyourhead.blogspot.com/2010/03/honey-you-are-rock.html

4-Mar-2010: Parque Simon Bolivar, Bogota, Colombia - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
ColdPlay rattled to 40 thousand Bogota The Attendees enjoyed the great successes of Londoners who showed a large-scale spectacle, typical of the best bands in the world. Huge balloons suspended in the air and illuminated with inscriptions of "Viva la Vida 'and references to the album cover were the gadgets that the band use in tarimadel Parque Simón Bolívar. Although the concert started at 8:45 pm, from early morning a group of young people flocked to the gates of the Park Event Square, despite the transport strike that plunged the ciudfad. Speaking to Radio Santa Fe, several of the followers of this London group stated their excitement at the spectacle for which they paid tickets ranging between 120 and 305 thousand dollars or so. "I live nearby and so arrive early, I came walking up here, because a band Coldplay is very important," said one fan of the group. The asitentes are able to enjoy the songs that are already considered classics, like Lost ',' Death and All of His Friends' and almost start when the concert came the song 'Viva la vida' which sparked the euphoria and began to vibrate the floor of the park. The English quartet led by Chris Martin, also played some of their more memorable, chorused by the public as 'The Scientist', 'Fix You', 'Clocks' or 'Yellow'. The best of the show were the many surprises and special effects that enlivened the concert and with the band gained a hearing for a week endured a city without public transportation, but patiently waited until the final hour. Latin America Oxfam tour blog 2010...
Mad Traffic Two words that perfectly sum up my first impression of São Paulo. Okay: we arrived just at rush hour and the city is huge, but the journey from the airport took us absolutely ages, despite the driver trying his best to find as many shortcuts as one can possibly imagine. Anyway, we’re finally here, the crew is already loading in for tomorrow’s gig. I haven’t seen the Morumbi Stadium yet, but it’s supposed to be MASSIVE: with a capacity of over 60,000 people, I can only imagine how much noise Coldplay fans will make when they recognize the first few notes of their favourite songs. And from my short experience, that usually happens with every single song! Oxfam will be at the venue with 20 volunteers led by the amazing Carlos: you’ll see them distributing bookmarks and if you ask they’ll be more than happy to have a chat about how you can take action against climate change. Last night’s gig in Rio was amazing, despite the Coldplay Cloud (yes, the crew has officially named it) struck again just before the band went on stage, but Rio de Janeiro’s people kept on singing out loud under their colourful plastic macs. That reminds me that I haven’t mentioned the supporting band on tour yet: Bat for Lashes. When they go on stage with their moon and stars backdrop it’s like being projected into a dream PLUS Natasha wears amazing outfits (sorry… little girly note). Time to go now. See you tomorrow, amigos paulistas! Giulia http://www.oxfamblogs.org/coldplay/giuliab/mad-traffic/ Retrieved from "http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/Oxfam_Tour_Blog:_2_March_2010" ------------------------------------------------------------------ Happy Birthday Chris! Morumbi means ‘green hill’. Had it meant ‘Violet Hill’ it would have been perfection. Still, it’s a word of indigenous origin and I love the sound of it: doesn’t it make you think of a crescendo of noise? Appropriate for tonight indeed. It’s Chris’s birthday today and Will sang ‘Happy Birthday’ in Portuguese, reading out some scribbled notes on his guitar, and São Paulo’s people joined in. Feliz aniversário! Our twenty Oxfam volunteers have done a marvellous job, tiredlessly handing over thousands of bookmarks to the public. Visit this website http://www.tictactictac.org.br and make your voice heard for the next fundamental step on the negotiations on climate change. After Copenhagen, Mexico’s COP16 is the place where the world leaders will gather to decide the planet’s future in December 2010. Thanks Carlos and Mirella, and all of you, volunteers in Rio and São Paulo. You have been wonderful. Now time to get ready for Colombia. 2-Mar-2010: Morumbi Stadium, Sao Paulo, Brazil - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
Coldplay: British quartet drew 65 thousand people at the Morumbi ... The gray weather heralded a night of rain in Sao Paulo. In the Morumbi stadium, the British quartet Coldplay came to play Singing in the Rain (singing in the rain) on the scale of his tour of São Paulo Viva La Vida, in which the band squandered sympathy and thrilled the audience. But by the evening of Tuesday (2), no one got wet and what we saw was a flurry of butterflies, part of a colorful spectacle that had a right to congratulate you for the singer Chris Martin, now 33. After the instrumental version of Life of Technicolor, the show started with Violet Hill. The song featured on the album that gave its name to the tour (actually, Viva la Vida Or Death And All His Friends), but there were times in the drawer of the band, since it was formed early in the group, formed in 1997 by colleagues University College of London. With the screen name inspired by the Mexican Frida Kahlo and made the cover of the famous nineteenth-century painting of Eugène Delacroix depicting the French Revolution, the latest CD is, according to some critics, more mature version of the group, which is complete with Guy Berryman on bass , Jonny Buckland on Guittarra and Will Champion on drums. One of the stars of the show in São Paulo was the song Yellow, hit the first album, Parachutes, Coldplay who made known in 2000. Large yellow balloons walked by on the public, who seemed to know by heart the lyrics of much of the repertoire of the show, with songs from four albums. One of the highlights of the concert tour was the performative to the sound of the quartet's flagship Singing in the Rain. Taking the public by surprise, they walked to a small stage in the audience to sing the acoustic version of Shiver. Buckland then sang Happy Birthday in Portuguese, Chris Martin. The singer also walked with lessons here: to thank said "thank you, guys", to ask for more public participation said: "Please!" - Who failed to teach you something beyond the mere translation of British formality, a "let's go!" or something. Martin said there is nothing better than to celebrate his birthday with 60 thousand Brazilians. Missed by little: the office of Time For Fun 65 thousand tickets sold. Another high point was the execution in psychedelic version of God Put a Smile Upon Your Face, but the rain of colorful butterflies at the end. Well-behaved boys and politically correct, the members of Coldpay clash of the old stereotype of bad boy rock bands. The group is activist NGOs such as Amnesty International. The band has also refused offers millions for commercial use of their songs in advertising. The money seems to make no lack: they have sold over 50 million CDs After the well spoken debut Parachutes (2000), success was inevitable in the second album, A Rush of Blood To The Head (2002). A beautiful insight into the music that gave name to this album was accompanied by highly successful hits as In My Place, Clocks and the ballad The Scientist. The trilogy was completed with X & Y (2004). Then came Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. Unlike those who emphasize the maturity of the CD, some say that they were more boring. Judging by the scale of São Paulo tour, can be said to remain popular - every pause in the show "ô ô ô ôô" the chorus reappeared pulled by the public. The quartet seems to have enjoyed the excitement. Errou por pouco: as bilheterias da Time For Fun venderam 65 mil ingressos. In My Place, Clocks ea balada The Scientist. A trilogia ficou completa com X & Y (2004). Aí veio Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends.

2-Mar-2010: Morumbi Stadium, Sao Paulo, Brazil - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
After some time away from the big musical shows, almost an oath of allegiance to my favorite band - Pearl Jam - decided I should watch the show from Coldplay, the English group have always admired. I surrender and I do not regret, almost two-hour show to hear songs from the main group and almost the last part of the album Viva La Vida. For some time I realize that the proper directory and the mega structure is part of a technical device that sensitizes various sense of the subject, as a visual spectacle becomes as important as a powerful sound and well equalized. Perhaps these requirements have not been well met by the opening bands. Regarding Vanguart describe little or nothing, as not got no time to accompany the presentation of cuiabanos. But a picture intrigued me, Natasha Khan, "cover" of Björk and singer of Bat for Lashes. Difficult to define and influence, proximity to Natasha with the Icelandic singer. Musically and physically Natasha Khan embarked on a style reign sovereign Björk, perhaps the similarity between the vocal tones is the most significant reason of the inevitable comparison. As hardly anyone goes to a show to be a fan of the opening act, the production of Natasha Khan and band out of the cooler that has accompanied, at least in the sector in which it was. The period between a band and another is long, especially when you expect one of the main attractions of the night. The Coldplay came a few minutes after the prediction, nothing to disturb the atmosphere of the night. With his usual musical introduction of the tour they played Life in Techicolor and Violet Hill to fall in the first blast of the night. The crack Clocks, In My Place Yellow and shook the public, culminating in a disorganized Happy Birthday to Chris Martin, birthday night. Unlike the intimate shows made for "miserable" in the last 10,000 people passing through Via Funchal, Coldplay, confirming the current status of Mega Banda Pop, gradually managed to fill most of space for spectators at the Morumbi. The mix of new songs with old hits continued with 42 and Fix You. The highlight of the night may have been to Viva La Vida and her endless "Oh Oh Oh" sung in chorus by the audience. At the end of some songs Chris Martin was keen to express their gratitude with words in Portuguese. In conclusion, the Bis with The Scientist, one of the major successes of the band. The Feedback particular points - the output "Oh Oh Oh" was still sung by many who left the stadium. The Coldplay changed much since his last visit to Brazil, with the disc A Rush of Blood to the Head came to stardom with X & Y confirmed that the band was able to keep the music scene. But Viva La Vida tour and his place among the major Coldplay Pop icons, a position that has advantages and disadvantages. If the question was - would the band Coldplay an icon of mass culture? The final confirmation came yesterday in front of 60 thousand people. Fireworks! Desktop Picados! Lasers! Viva La Musica! http://arrotos.wordpress.com/2010/03/03/viva-la-vida/

The Coldplay concert in the Morumbi was awaited by his fans that the rain, thanks to prayer than 60 thousand people, there was present the night of Tuesday. Opening the show was divided between the cuiabanos Vanguart and the band Bat for Lashes - Project British singer Natasha Khan, who was applauded even little understood by fans of Coldplay. The audience anxiously awaited the entrance of the band, carrying balloons in their hands red, white and black - colors of the album Viva la Vida - distributed by the organization to commemorate the anniversary of the singer, Chris Martin. The huge Morumbi lights dimmed and the background could be heard the very beginning of the song "Life In Technicolor," which also opens Viva la Vida. Next "Violet Hill" has come to put more pile in public shouting wildly, beyond the sound the instruments and the voice of the talented musicians banda.O hit "Clocks" also could not stay out of the setlist the band and was applauded by the public. Then it was time to explore and walk the two walkways that hugged the lane vip. Martin did it very well, running back and forth and greeting the fans huddled at his feet. "Thank you all," he replied with a gringo accent, after receiving a burst of balloons in celebration of its 33 years. "Yellow", another with the band, gained prominence when several yellow balls invaded the pitch at the Morumbi and were admitted to a large screen high definition. The songs "Glass of Water" and "42" were presented to the public with the characteristic touch of Coldplay: piano.Embalando the couples in love, lonely piano and Martin gave the beginning of the light show. The grandstand has suffered from poor sound quality and tried to claim. It was in vain. Martin came to question "how is up there?", But did not understand the message. "Fix You" was a show parte. public was so excited he rehearsed a chorus worthy of interruption of Coldplay singer to pronounce three letters, "WOW". Packaged by the turn of the music, a rain of fireworks came out from behind the stage right into the sky of Sao Paulo. "Strawberry Swing", Martin danced, asked the support of mobile lights and walked with the rest of the band to the edge of a catwalk. "Viva la Vida" music that many people hoped would open the show of the tour, became a huge chorus of the band and independent, no doubt, was chilling. The band did not stop with the surprises. The British foursome walked to the boundary of the runway and the runway vip common and without the public noticing, went on a small stage and began an exciting version of "Shiver". A novel version of "Don Quixote" followed the country style and drew laughs from the audience. At the end of the show, "Lovers in Japan", provided the public a spectacle, with a rain of paper butterflies, mixed with light guns, causing an effect lysergic and beautiful to the eye. The leaves were perfect for "Death and All His Friends" and on for the encore of "The Scientist". At the end of the show, Chris Martin also announced that fans would go home, for free, a copy of the album live LeftRightLeftRightLeft - available for almost a year for free download, a treat for anyone put default. A treat to the eyes and ears, Coldplay left in memory of who was present an excerpt from one of his song "Such a perfect day" - Strawberry Swing. http://agenciaspindox.wordpress.com/2010/03/03/coldplay-em-sao-paulo/

Fans complain about the sound quality in the Coldplay show in SP The sound quality for the Coldplay concert on the evening of Tuesday (2) disappoint the public who went to the Morumbi stadium in Sao Paulo. Many fans of the British band said that the volume remained low throughout the presentation to about 65 thousand people, according to the press. "From the first song, the sound was muffled," says G1 to the financial administrator Venite Diego Sanchez, 19, who paid $ 108 (half price plus tax) for a ticket to the bleachers blue, which is on the top left of the stage. "When Chris Martin spoke to the public, not heard anything. In between songs hiss a lot and we ask you to turn up the sound, but the situation has not changed, "says the fan who came to look for security problems to report, but received no return. "I'm a fan of Colplay many years, watched the show the band at Via Funchal in 2007 and was very good," he recalls. "The impression I got was that Coldplay has no structure to mount a show of this size."

Pulemos Vanguart. Bat for Lashes ! after being seduced by Natasha Khan on her show dark, dark and sinister (I loved a lot, she is beautiful and super talented) begins Coldplay (just to remind me shiver) Morumbi stadium packed, everybody screaming until almost euphoric burst the vocal folds (I for example) with red balloons, black and white hands níver named because of Chris. You do not have words to describe the show, which we will be unforgettable, came home with that stage singing the chorus of Viva La Vida "Ooooooooooooo" with the images of those fires and with the memory of Will Champion singing "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese in my head. I was on the track common, yes, I was part of the crowd shouting "bire Frees, releases vipe!" or "Take the blue plate, take the blue plate!" (inside joke) but tá worth, at least I was in grade. I like everyone got the butterflies of papers that fall, and killed myself to make it onto a CD in the output stage. In other words the show was FODA and I'm sure the 02 March 2010 will be unforgettable for everyone who was there. All this was fascinating, I hope you show more fodástico this year and hope that Coldplay back soon. Pulemos Vanguart. Bem...

26-Feb-2010: River Plate Stadium, Buenos Aires, Argentina - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Phot
Coldplay en Argentina, 26 / 2 River Plate Stadium Coldplay en Argentina, 26/2 Estadio River Plate Spectacular, fascinating, exciting, unforgettable are the words that best describe what I experienced myself and another 49,000 people on Friday 26 February. The dream began at approximately 21:20 pm the rhythm of Life in Technicolor I, followed by Violet Hill. The dream began at approximately 21:20 pm the rhythm of Life in Technicolor I, followed by Violet Hill. And so: I saw the best British band of the millennium just two meters away. I could see the dots of the recently shaved beard Chris and Guy, I saw the faces of all with perfect clarity, I saw Chris's blue eyes so close ... As for repertoire, I can not complain, although I would have liked them to play Amsterdam, Swallowed in the sea and Shiver (who sang it in Brazil, grr), the organization and order of songs was perfect. The songs on Viva la Vida broke it, especially Violet Hill, Lovers in Japan, Viva la Vida, Death And All His Friends and Life in Technicolor II, which wowed everyone. The audience sang Yellow craved (and the VIP area by touching one of the yellow balls floating in the hands of all), was moved to tears with Fix you (me, for example) and The Scientist, sang and jumped up cause an earthquake with classics such as In My Place, Clocks and Politik. The show deserves 6 stars on a scale of 5: the play of light, the pictures on the screens, the paper butterflies Lovers in Japan (I grabbed a lot), the tribute to Michael Jackson, Don Quixote (the song that wrote to Latin America), and Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, the souvenir CD of the concert. Besides all, I laughed a lot with Chris and his Spanish phrases such as "The izquierdd of those of the deresh", and even more taken with the cries of some people, such as "I amooooooooooooooo" (with tremendous male voice, very ball), "Jonny Jesuuuuuuuus (taaanto worship!) and" God quedateeeee! " (the one that yelled at Chris was the same as Jesus called out to Jonny, I guess that Guy is the Virgin Mary, and Will the Holy Spirit). Well, I think there is enough words or description that serves to tell what happened in those two hours, those who were there can attest to it. It only remains to thank Coldplay to fulfill my dream in just two wonderful hours and ask them to come back soon, because I miss them a lot.

26-Feb-2010: River Plate Stadium, Buenos Aires, Argentina - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Phot
Coldplay en Buenos Aires: Amor amarillo Coldplay in Buenos Aires: Amor Amarillo Always emotive and epic, the English quartet River filled the stadium with great songs and a unique visual display. As in love, we like to go little by little, slowly, "said Chris Martin at the checkered press conference at the Hotel Faena, during Coldplay's first visit to Argentina. With that revelation, the singer was trying to explain the reason why his band was playing in the intimacy of a theater, rather than in a typical arena rock. So if that initiatory approach had been a kiss and a hand that came down the belt, this second visit was passion and sex. With a live dynamic and spectacular feature, the British landed a second time in Buenos Aires, carrying in his luggage overweight fireworks, laser beams, balloons, confetti, lights and other devices. Before and way of preamble, the Banda de Turistas offers a set resounding ovations and left. As a greeting, in their dressing rooms received two bottles of wine and a note signed by the Fab Four. As he neared the time of the main stars and the expectation grew, Bat For Lashes made its appearance. Love in a skin-deep sensitivity and a song that oozes mystery, Natasha Khan moved his voice like a wolf in heat, in an exercise that he ties to Björk. Accompanied by a trio of keyboard, guitar and drums, the English rock celebrity novel danced among tribal rhythms and signed a so ethereal and magical show. The hope to see soon. Without further ado and with a flurry that gave his playing epic (if needed!), Coldplay River lit up the night with sparklers in their hands and "Life in Technicolor" on the speakers, showing the outset that it would not be an evening common in the history of the multitudinous readings recorded in Argentina. Leaving aside all the trappings and visual coup, his songs have a melodic impact shocking. They do not show the arrogance of Oasis, and Martin has the charisma of Bono. On stage, most rock stars seem sensible four university they want to like your mom. Y con eso les alcanza. And that hits them. So the band goes to the heart with "Clocks" "In My Place" and that is redemptive ballad "Yellow", an interpretation which marked one of the peaks of the concert, reaching its climax as dozens of giant yellow balloons bounced between the crowd. In that vein, the deafening counterpoint between Chris and the 60,000 souls singing this "Lights will guide you to your home, turn on your bones and I'll try to fix you" ( "Fix You"), magnified the card sharper than it was, is and will the stadiums rock. Needless to mention when it asked Martin to set off a wave cellular and carry with them when Michaerl honor Jackson "Billie Jean" from the catwalk and three guitars. Emotional. Noting this map, maybe Alan McGee (fans of the Gallagher brothers, googling his name) has right to shoot that malicious about that catchphrase "Coldplay makes music for kids who pee in bed". But ... What is sin that, if the group hiding in their pockets gems as "The Hardest Part", "Speed of Sound," Lovers in Japan "or" The Scientist "? Almost an epiphany of what is the history of rock germinated in the UK. Love, hate. So while the sky was opening for Martin, Jon Buckland (aprendidito has well illustrated the Manual The Edge), Guy Berryman and Will Champion (elegance and power to stand behind your battery), the moon was mixed with all the balloons ready at each point of the monumental and the audience received all that came from above with the impression that it was another night in which a foreign artist comes to perform, safe passes and leaves. With its ramshackle movements, the husband of Gwyneth Paltrow covered every corner of the stage, it transpired, he tried to speak Spanish (many times with success and good diction) and even pushed his teammate to premiere a song they had composed in a hotel in Tokyo Japan. In short, Coldplay justified every penny of the value of the input (output until the free CD with live footage!) With a show that will be remembered for many years. Yes, as is, as the love that begins slowly.

I went to Coldplay's gig last night, i live in Rio de Janeiro and here rarely rains and it's never cold, well last night wasn't a typical Rio de janeiro's evening, it rainned alot, and it was cold and windy.... how can i describe it...humm... like an english summer weather! i felt like i was in glasto, minus the mud and all the amazing bands playing, tonight it was Coldplay's night. Don't get me wrong i'm not complaining, i miss the english weather ( yes i know i'm crazy) so it felt alittle bit like home to me. The concert it self was amazing, i had forgoten how much i love coldplay. Chris Martin's voice, energy, musician skills and lyrics are just too good to be true, actually all the band were sounding like perfection. Moments i know i'm never going to forget, i don't know if it's just with me, but when i go to a concert i'm 100% there, i want to absorb every emotion, every word, every note, and it moves me so much even to tears like last night (i know really embarrassing) but what can i say, i really love music! I read somewhere that people that wacthed them in Argentina were flying to Rio to see them again. i thought it was abit silly to fly all that and i also thought that they maybe too rich to see how much money they are spending .....but still.... after wacthing their gig.... i got to confess...i would do the exact same thing. http://theoceanchild.blogspot.com/2010/03/viva-la-vida.html

The presentation was scheduled to start at 20h, but only began around 20:30. Sign that punctuality is not always followed to the letter by the British, but nothing to take away the mood of the audience, even under the drizzle. Composed of many teenagers and middle-aged people, the audience cheered when the lights went out and the quartet of Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland appeared on a huge stage. A partir daquele momento, a Passarela do Samba deu lugar a um grande reduto do rock/pop. From that moment, the Sambadrome led to a great bastion of rock / pop. Com um belo efeito de jogos de luzes, o Coldplay iniciou o show com duas músicas de sucesso, Life in Technicolor e Violet Hill , o suficiente para aquecer os fãs. With a beautiful effect of lighting effects, Coldplay set started with two hit songs, and Life in Technicolor Violet Hill, enough to warm the fans. And to feel the positive energy of Rio, Chris decided to ask for help the audience with a "please" in Portuguese, the monitoring of Clocks. De imediato, o coro ecoou no Sambódromo. Immediately, the choir echoed the Sambadrome. He still had time to go to the catwalk next to the public for a quick chat: "Incredible! Is everybody all right? You guys are great!". One fan presented him with the flag of Brazil, which gained ground in the microphone stand of a band. "Thank you for coming to enjoy the show." Still in the early part of the presentation, the English sang Yellow and saw big yellow balloons were released to the air by the public. Whenever one of them flew toward the stage, Chris the burst with the guitar. Part of the public joined the colors of the logo of the tour and tossed balls in red, black and white. In Strawberry Swing, another band's success, the boys improvised a small stage on the catwalk, complete with piano solos. Already in the song that gives name to the tour, Coldplay got the highlight of the show, raising the gang. Who had little time had the shoulders of friends to have a privileged view. Those who expected a closer contact with the musicians could not complain. To everyone's surprise, the quartet came off the stage and walked by a space allocated properly among the crowd. Another nice innovation was Don Quixote, the new song from the band. Back on stage, Chris had an umbrella in Japanese style to protect the "rain" of shredded plastic while singing Lovers in Japan. Also during this song, the audience lit bright objects, such as cell phones, cameras and lighters, which created a visual interest in the rainy night. Death and All His Friends , já em tom de despedida, foi finalizada com mais um "muito obrigado". Death And All His Friends, has a tone of dismissal, ended with one more "thank you". Alguns admiradores entoavam a melodia de Viva La Vida . Some fans chanted the melody of Viva La Vida. O quarteto deixou o palco, mas a platéia fez questão de esperar pelo tradicional "bis", que teve The Scientist e Life in Technicolor 2 . The quartet left the stage, but the audience was keen to wait for the traditional encore, which was The Scientist and Life in Technicolor 2. "It was great from start to finish. The Coldplay are following the guidelines of the U2, the best shows. The affection and closeness with the audience are amazing. Coldplay does show in Rio in the rain British band Coldplay sang last night for thousands of people in the Apotheosis Square in Rio, in his first concert tour in Brazil "Viva la Vida". It rained throughout the show. The costumes and carnival floats were replaced by the typical decoration of the tour for Coldplay: huge globes suspended in the air and illuminated with inscriptions of "Viva la Vida" and references to Table of Delacroix that graces the cover of the album. The Brazilian public has had defied the rain during the opening act for the British band Bat for Lashes. The Coldplay concert lasted about two hours. The band started the show half an hour later than planned, to wait for the rain to diminish a little and took the stage to the sound of "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss, before starting with the first song of the night, "Life in Technicolor. " In his repertoire, songs from the last album like "Viva la Vida" "Lost" and "Death and All of His Friends', issues with which won the Grammy for best album in 2009. The British foursome led by Chris Martin, who has not played in Rio since 2003, also played some of his most memorable themes as "The Scientist", "Fix You", "Clocks" and "Yellow". Martin described the environment of the Apotheosis as "incredible" and put a flag of Brazil on his microphone. During the show many surprises and special effects illustrate the show. First, giant globes of yellow flooded the track while the band played "Yellow" to continue with fireworks in "Fix You". After a brief recess, the band disappeared from the stage and moved to a small platform in the middle of the audience he played several songs on acoustic, including a new song, "Spanish Rain". Thousands of paper butterflies of all colors covered the spectators in front of the stage during "Lovers in Japan", while a new battery of fireworks used to finally put an end to the show, which ended as it began with "Life in Technicolor. The show in Rio de Janeiro is the second of seven that the group held in Latin America and will serve to end the tour. After playing in Buenos Aires on Friday and yesterday in Rio, the band will go to Sao Paulo next Tuesday, Bogota, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey (Mexico). http://www.portalctv.com/2010/03/01/coldplay-faz-show-no-rio-debaixo-de-chuva/

Coldplay in Rio de Janeiro On Sunday evening we saw Coldplay on apotheosis Stadium, Sambódromo, in Rio. It is the same place as the Carnaval samba parade contest was held, but only a part of it. 30 000 tickets were sold, but it was not completely sold out. Despite this, it was what I could see the full gallery on Pade and floor. Only VIP seats at the front appeared to have room left. The tickets cost 2000 USD, however, so it might not be something everyone wants to pay. It POUR. Genuine concert weather. We purchased the opposite rain cape and it felt like we were on the Festival. The dressing was called Bat For Lashes, and comes from the United Kingdom. They played just over 40 minutes, and got me settled at once. According to me sounds a bit like the Björk, Sigur Rós, and Florence and the Machine, the same experimentuella sound. Lucas said afterwards that "you should come home and google it and download all their songs, I feel everything a little bit" which I obviously would. Good band tips for those who like the other mentioned bands. Coldplay had said that they would go on at 20.00, and was faschionabelt late, ie 20.30. Life in Technicolor began to flow out of the speakers and the four boys came out on stage. Since no one was standing still at just over 90 minutes. Since the tour began with Viva la Vida last year, and still goes in the album's characters, played many songs from that album. But it is always. While favorites such as Yellow, The Scientist (acoustic and with a stream of tears), Politics, Warning Sign, and others came during the evening. During one of the songs butterflies flew out of the smoke machine limits, or the butterfly machine, and the whole sky was full of colorful butterflies for a while. I had heard about this before. Both I and Isabela, Lucas friend, screamed with delight and agreed that this was the prettiest we've seen in a long time. I found then a butterfly on the ground on the way home that I saved. http://hosgester.blogg.se/2010/march/coldplay-i-rio-de-janeiro-1.html
