So am I. It sounds dull. All the other album titles were interesting, this one is bland. But hopefully the music is better.

Could anyone explain to me why they have the letters esq at the end. Is that an abreviation of the title 'Esquire', nowadays often uses as a polite title for men ? As I pointed out earlier the Champion word is strange. Do they really think they are champions? Btw, the second letter was sent to a person called danbullocks. My English isn't good enough to understand It, but doesn't bullocks mean 'nonsense?

I think Coldplay would never write a letter like this, badly typed with so many explanations of how they feel. And why write chris, jonny, guy and then Will Champion's full Name? They wouldn't write from hibernation either. It's not their style.

I would also hate that!! But what about those songs that have turned black and white like Aliens, Yellow etc. ?? It might be these songs are their favourites and will appear on an album 'Best Of '?

Nor do I. But I think we are making the mistake of waiting for a normal album with the normal course of events leading up to it. This time it will all be different. They are telling us: 'This time we are looking backwards and will simply rearrange some older songs.' Btw, Chris this year has been appearing alone on so many events as never before.. Could it be he is heading towards a solo career, though he often said he wouldn't go solo? . Well I am simply tired of waiting and guessing Time will show.

They seem to have changed that on the new album. Jonny and Will have composed 'Conscious Pilot' and will eventually perform this with Chris and Guy in the background whilst Chris and Guy will perform acoustically together. I read somewhere that Guy will have a more important part in the next album. Btw, just recently Guy mentioned Chris on his instagram account when speaking about Ginger Baker ('Chris and I both spent much of our time in our first bands playing ‘Sunshine of Your Love’). He has never before mentioned Coldplay or any of his bandmates on the account. Probably not a coincidence.

Exactly! Many Coldplay fans thought for example that Stargate had ruined AHFOD. But there are several interviews where the members of Coldplay, all four of them, are full of praise for the Nowegian producers. Let's face the fact that Coldplay have their own musical taste, and that it is not necessarily that of some of their fans.

If the producers of E-Lo worked on the new album, it could mean it will just contain some charity songs for The Global Citizen Festival in 2020.

No, it was Jonny who studied astronomy and mathematics. Guy studied engineering and later architecture. Btw, I was thinking about the 'Wedding Bell Dance Orchestra'. This could mean they will release an album with dance music in the 1919/1920 style. It might also be an album inspired by jazz, because The Original Dixieland Jazzband visited England in 1919. Thanks a lot. That's why it sounded slightly familiar to me. So their new album might contain songs from other artists which they rearranged, hopefully with the others' permission. Their album might well have a classical sound. Will once said he listens to classical music in the morning and Chris has written some classical sounding music as for instance the Invictus Games anthem. Very exciting.

That snippet sounds so nostalgic, so classic, so sad and peaceful at the same time. I would love to hear more of that music but I doubt the album will be similar to this. It's supposed to be experimental. I think we will be very suprised. Looking forward to hearing more!

91 pages of speculations, hopes, excitement - and still no album, no single, not even the tiniest piece of new music. What are all these hints about? The sun, the moon - Is Coldplay indicating they are going cosmic?? They have conquered the earth and played on all five continents. Now they are going to conquer the whole universe. Are they gradually becoming megalomaniacs for a change?? They've always been very humble and down-to-earth. That's one of the reasons we like them. Let's hope they haven't changed. But I am still not a hundred percent convinced that we are really going to get new music. It might all be fake. I do hope I am wrong.

Maybe there are more trolls beside Kirboh on this forum and elsewhere. What if that poster about November 22, 1919 is fake and was made by 'fans'? What if the changing of the thumbnails to black and white was not made by Coldplay? What if nothing is really happening beside the shooting of a video clip at Malibu for some charity event? Anyhow the discussion on this forum was and still is intense and great fun!

Probably that poster was an unauthorized one hung up by some Coldplay fans just to hypen up people. Perhaps the band knows nothing about the poster.
