  1. I love how he hasn't posted in this thread yet :)
  2. Ooh, I think I'm one of those? The 2nd Generation of "oldies"? I haven't quite reached 300,000 posts yet though ;( And I don't really plan on leaving soon. The internet is still a bit part of my life.
  3. It's like the rebirth, on the day before like, 8 people leave. For the first time in a long while, I've made more than 2 posts in a day that have actually had some thought into them.
  4. I could be reading into this wrong, but I'll say it like I understood it. I think it's important to not let the technological advancements the world is making fully consume your life. I don't know how much that makes sense, but it's like... to me it's very important that any kids I have are exercised and healthy. I don't want my children to spend all their time on the internet or computer games. I want my kids to spend time on them, for sure, the internet and computer games have both been great to me, but I want them to appreciate how good exercise is for them, and reading a book.

I'm going to say this at the risk of sounding egotistic or arrogant, but it's just what I think. I think I'm a confident person with all the reason to be. I have good self-control and discipline, to an extent where I could say "I'm not gonna do this for a month" and I wouldn't do it. However, I don't have decidation in school as much as I'd like. You put me on a basketball court with a basketball and ask me to perfect a move, and I'd perfect it, no matter how long it took. You put me in a classroom and ask me to learn something? I would sit there bored and end up daydreaming. It's the one personality trait of mine I would change without hesitation. I wish I had a desire to learn. I don't think I have a bad personality. I like to think I have a good balance between being able to be serious and being able to be fun. I'm funny, and I only make that assumption because I make people laugh. I think I'm kind, and generous, and I can listen to someone and help them if they need help. I also think I'm mature. I think I know how to be polite to people, and how to treat all sorts of different people. But I also know I have no idea what I want most of the time. Whether it's thinking about the future or whatever, I'm generally indecisive. Uhm , there's probably a lot more I could go into, but I think if I write anymore no-one will read it.
  6. I really really hope mc_squared replies to this thread...
  7. It depends how you mean. If you mean you'd like to die quick and painless as in, you wouldn't know that you were gonna die, then I'd disagree. I'd rather I knew I was dying and I was in a little bit of pain just before I died, so my family and friends would know that I was much more restful in death. It'd make them feel better, because it's much better knowing your relative or friend died and is now in a more peaceful place, than thinking that they went so sudden.

Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers, likely. Not so much for the lyrics, but it's an amazing song. I think I'd like to have the whole of the By The Way album played though.
  9. Disability. I can't imagine living my life without being able to do sports or things like walking or running. Two of my grandparents were blind most of their lives, so I can't say I know what it's like, but I know the effect it can have on you. I don't want to live any part of my life relying on someone else to do something like walk to the shop. I'd like to say losing loved ones or scared of a certain type of pain or animal/object, but there's a chance you can get over it. Undoubtedly if a family member died, you'd miss them and feel it for a long while, if not for ever, but you'd have days where you didn't think about it, and good days. With something like being blind, that's it. There's no release from that, no escape.

I'm religious. Again I don't use the word much cause I'm not in that type that I go to church and pray every night or all that. I don't like prayer in the form it's usually done either. It all seems a bit formal for me, like, if I said to myself "Yeah I'm gonna pray before my exam" or before I go to sleep, I'd feel like I was doing it just to do it, and not cause I needed it. I instead choose to believe that whatever I'm saying to myself in my head, he's hearing. It's not so much prayer as to just talking and having him listen. That's how I think of it anyways.
