My family isn't really religious either, except my grandfather, but he passed a few years ago. For me, that was what made me realise. I was never brought up in a religious way at all (my mother and brothers may believe, but they don't... practise it at all). My grandad was blind from birth and went through a lot of crazy stuff I could never cope with and he was very religious and as was his funeral. You hear about it like, people saying they have moments where they realise what they believe and I think that was the moment for me. Before hand I didn't believe nor disbelieve. That was when I realised that someone is there for everyone, whoever they choose to believe it is. I don't go to church, although I live across the street from one. I might go one day. Soon, next month, next year, I don't know. I've never followed any other ways of believing other than what I have in my head. I pray when I need to and talk to God when I need to also. The reason I started this thread is because we have people on this forum who are from many different places in the world. I mean, a guy at my school asked everyone I know whether they believed in God or not. There was a few agnostics, a lot of athiests, but I was the only one who actually said that I 100% agreed. It shocked me to be honest, but to be fair to them they know I don't shove my beliefs down their throat and they respect that I can have this reason for belief and my belief. I mean, I'm the only guy I know from school or wherever who wears a cross for a reason other than "they look cool".

We need a certain level of seriousness. I don't think anyone would seriously consider Jedi a religion. Reason I said it is cause on a different forum I go on, a thread on the same subject got taken over by people pretending to be Jedi's and ruining it for the people who actually had something interesting to say about their beliefs. If you can find me a Jedi, I'll take the comment off. :(
  4. I know this has most likely been covered before, but if it has, and if it has with a poll - it's outdated now, and I'm not causing anyone harm by restarting it. I'm in a thought seeking mood tonight and I think this Lounge actually needs some interesting topics to give it a bit more... It's too full of games right now. That said, obviously we don't want any discrimination or anything. I'm sure if any of that occurs I'll close the thread or one of the admins/mods will delete it.

I'm just curious as to what people believe on here. I'm Christian (protestant, really). But I'm not trying to impose my beliefs onto anyone. I'm just curious is all. Oh, and can we all stay open minded in here? Everyone has the right to their own beliefs. Oh, and no, Jedi isn't a religious belief.

Actually. I'm Chris Martin. Ask Crystal she heard me on the phone. The rest is a cover up.
  10. I'm registered. As Jack, suprisingly.
  11. It's called Song For Clay (Disappear Here) And, if all goes smoothly from now on, I just got tickets to go and see Red Hot Chili Peppers in August. That is like, the biggest thing ever. Ever. Ever. EVER.

Yeah. He might retire at the end of the season so we may have lost him for good. :( The Eagles are 3rd in playoffs, lost in cup final the other week but we're bouncing back. And, I'll maybe answer the other questions tomorrow. Business Essay :(

If you are from England: Do you like living in England? Yeah. I'm not saying I would never consider ever living anywhere else. But I live in a great part of England and can't complain about anything in my lifestyle. I'm very appreciative of what I have and where I am. What would you change about England? If I'm honest, the weather. I'm not a big fan of cold. Other than that, there is a big percentile of our population who do idiotic things. We have too many criminals, too many unemployed people, too many racists. But I understand that there is no quick fix to this. Perhaps in generations of the future these problems with be less prominent. What do you think makes a typical English person? Unfortunately it's not a good perception. This is only because I live here though. I am often grateful but ashamed to be English. There are some people in England who I don't want to be classed in the same nationality as. But that's not answering that question. The typical English person for me is, really, a very privaledged person who doesn't appreciate what they have, and take enough notice of the world around them. I would say I'm probably too much like that typical person for my own liking. I think I've seen the best and worst England has to offer though. Kara, is that enough? Do I not need to answer the top questions? If you need me to I will :P And on a more personal note - TJ Walker broke his hand and is dunzo for the season :( I am sad.
  18. First off: Old School Man United shirt there Rick. I hate Man Utd, but I hope they win this year. ONLY, this year. Anyways, I didn't take this photo. My friend was sitting on my sofa messing around with my phone whilst I was getting ready to go out. I thought it was thoughtful so I decided to share. Ohh, yeah, and me + haircut =...
  19. Uhm... I think the question is a bit awkward. The thread title asks "Do You Prefer Males Or Females?" whereas the poll asks "Most of my friends are : male, female or both equal." It's misleading because most of my friends are male, but I prefer females as friends. Easier to talk to about important stuff and what not. But my two best friends are male still. :p I don't know the answer. But I don't know the question. Spooky.
  20. And I got it right first :D
  21. That's a decent enough idea, like what we did to the music forum. And now we have WoM games. Do it, but someone gotta come up with a whole bunch of topics to talk about instead then. So the Lounge doesn't die. It will die.
  22. Today SUCKED. The past month for me has been awful, and yesterday was excellent and I stupidly thought that it was the turning point in my March. I HATE MARCH. Man today sucked. The above was bolded to create extra dramatic effect, don't argue about it.
  23. 1. It's a poor username. If someone doesn't give me a good mark I will hang myself. This is my name. I am Jack. Please say you like my name.
