The end of the Goodrich's at Burt Terrace era. Yeah. I'm emotioned out and making a thread about it. Wish me luck.

We never change do we?
Maturity? Like, there's a lot of people who are school bullies in their teens but when they're 30 or so they're the nicest people you could ever meet. I agreed with the first post till I thought about that.

the best compliment you've ever gotten
I was on holiday in Turkey last week and met this family. The family was like, the mother, the father, the grandmother and the 3 kids (Sophie, 13, Danielle, 12, and Ryan 8) and it was just like, a week of lying by the pool and all that. And this family was also there so we talked quite a bit. Anyways the real part of the story is that there was a Turkish night on at the resort and I sat next to that family and the kids disco came on and Ryan wanted to go up but he was the only boy out of like, 15 girls. He looked really nervous about it cause all these girls are dancing and he's shy cause he's the only guy, so I went up with him to do all the kids games. Like, Old McDonald had a farm and the hokey cokey and all that. Now, I'm a 6 ft 4 Geordie, 17 years old. Far and away the oldest , and tallest person there. I stood out. And all these random people were watching me dance like an 8 year old. After the dancing tehre was musical chairs and Ryan said to get his sisters up to play too. These girls were shy defined. So I got them to come up and played it cheating to make sure one of them won. In the end I got Sophie to 3rd place before having to let her go out. Now, that's a pretty long story, longer than I'm sure you all want to read, but it lead to the family's greatest compliment. 2 days later was time I left. They have another week there. They come home on Tuesday. As I was leaving and sayin' see ya later to them all the parents said that I was "the nicest 17 year old we've ever met" and that I'd "been like a big brother to their kids" and how they were suprised that I pretty much risked completely embarassing myself for their son to have a good time. Now, I've been given the whole "you're really good looking" compliments and all that but these things meant so much more to me. I realised a lot about myself by spending a week with new people and people who aren't necessarily in the criteria of people I surround myself with, like, there was no-one my age or anything. What I found important was that after just a week with me they felt they had seen enough evidence to say such good things about me, and that meant alot to me. Yeah... Holiday Stories :D

Mac v Windows
Uhh.... Windows just for simplistic reasons. I'd use Linux before I used Mac. Apple sucks.

Silly things you do in front of the mirror....
I use it to see what I'd look like. If I see something my mates are wearing and I wanna see what I'd look like in em I make them let me put it on and check the mirror. It's awesome. I do it with football kits and basketball strips too. "Hmm... I wonder what I'd look like as a Newcastle United player" and I'll put the full kit on or somethin. I sing too, but I don't regard that as silly. I don't use a hairbrush as a mic or nothing. I'm a big poser so I'm always near a mirror. I like making sure I look good. :P

However many people died, it's a tragic accident.- Yankees Pitcher Lidle Killed in Plane Crash
It's surreal.... Hard to imagine something like that could happen. I'm praying for his family. But also, was there any deaths from inside the building or just the two from the plane? Cause... Just cause it was a Yankee's player doesn't mean his death is any more important than anyone else who lost their lives in that incident.- what do you think of Michael Jackson
To be honest it's up to him. I don't really care.- Last Album that you bought/acquired?
Milburn - Well Well Well I recommend it :D- Snooker's Paul Hunter loses his battle with cancer
Rest in Peace Paul. My prayers are with your family tonight :(- Snooker's Paul Hunter loses his battle with cancer
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/snooker/6035879.stm Paul Hunter has died at the age of 27 after a battle with cancer. The Leeds player was taken into the Kirkwood Hospice in Huddersfield last Friday and died on Monday evening. The three-time Wembley Masters champion was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine tumours on the lining of his stomach in March 2005. Despite chemotherapy treatment, Hunter continued to compete professionally but won only one match last season and fell from fifth to 34th in the rankings. Hunter turned professional at the age of 16 in 1995 and won his first major title, the 1998 Welsh Open, at the age of 19. He also won the Welsh title in 2002 and picked up the British Open trophy the same year but he will be best remembered for his exploits at Wembley. Hunter recovered from 7-3 down to beat Fergal O'Brien 10-9 in the 2001 final and fought back from 5-0 to beat Mark Williams 10-9 in the final a year later. He completed a hat-trick of Masters victories in 2004 when he came from 7-2 down to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan 10-9. Hunter's best World Championship performance was reaching the semi-finals in 2003, where he led Ken Doherty 15-9 before the Irishman stormed back to win 17-16. Hunter would have been 28 on Saturday. He leaves a wife, Lindsey, and a daughter, Evie Rose, who was born on Boxing Day of last year.- Pitchfork reviews Jet's Shine On!!!
Uh... I really like Shine On. It's a thousand times better than Sam's Town. Which... by the way, is diabolical.- Parents put Kofi, Spike and Blade on list of baby names
