OK, I removed the second song and I will soon record some more stuff, but I wanna see more people showing us their stuff, it'll be great.

And Bonnie if you're still there watch Chaser's War on Everything at 10.15 tonight, ABC. I think it's meant to be a 'Best of' or something like that episode. Should be good. Although you don't have to watch it if you don't want to.

Well I've just done my Half-yearly's and I'm scared to get back the results. All I know so far is that I got 71% in my music exam. And next term we have "The Night Of Notables" which is an annual year 9 thing where we have to research a 'notable person in history' and write a speech/monologue thing, dress up and present all this info on some night where all the parents some and ask you random questions about your person and whatnot. I'm definitely doing someone musical, maybe a Beatle or maybe Jimmy Page.....I'll have to think about it.
  4. HAHA, not with grammar like that.

Bye bye Nik. :wink2: Oh and I am going to remove that second one very soon because listening to it now it sounds terrible. So get it now and you can sell this ultra-rare edition for hundreds of dollars in the future.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. Anyway, just to show what I mean by this thread I just recorded these two songs right now, right here in front of my computer in this uncomfortable chair with arms that make it difficult to play guitar and the ummm... distractions of ummm..... the computers gentle hum.... (if you haven't already guessed I am trying to think up as many excuses as I can for poor quality.) http://rundle.dmusic.com/ Just click the little green button that says hi-fi stream to hear the songs (or lo-fi if you're into that kinda thing.) These are not serious recordings, I screw up a lot especially in the second one, this is just to show examples of what I mean by this thread..... yes......that'll do. Oh and I apolagise for poor quality, they are recorded by my mp3 player.

I'm still having mixed opinions though, this is just my first listen through right now.

I never listen to Triple J, they say they are the alternate music radio or something but they are just another station of mainstream crap. I guess I'll have to check this out though.

Bumperooni Just got "At War With The Mystics" very different, sounds like it is too modern for it's time, at least that is the best way I can describe it. Awesome, and the lyrics are excellent, especially in "The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song".

Wow!! you are so lucky, I don't even know what it sounds like to tell you the truth. Where was it? I doubt it was in a stadium, was it at a festival or something?

Haha, you never know. EDIT: I knew I had an old picture of myself playing one somewhere:
  12. This has been attempted a few times in the Instrument Room, but to no avail due to lack of population, so.....lets stick one here! I (and I'm sure a lot of other people here) would love to hear your recordings of you doing whatever..... within reason....ie. musical. Singing, guitaring, pianoing, ondes martenoting etc... Your own material, covers, random riffing etc.... I would suggest using a site such as www.dmusic.com as it allows others to listen without having to actually download the music. Just sign up, it's free and upload your songs. (You'll get a lot more coverage, trust me.) But if you have to, use rapidshare or whatnot. Here's Mine: http://rundle.dmusic.com/ (It's bad but what are you gonna do.) C'mon everybody, support this, should be good fun and, as I said, it would be awesome to hear the showcase of talent that I'm sure is evident in this little community of ours. P.S. Yes, I did had to say ondes martenoting. Oh, and I will try to get some stuff recorded soon, but no promises.
  13. I never knew depressing music was such a bad thing. I consider almost all Radiohead's music to be depressing and I like it that way, they are my probably my favourite band right now. I would also consider such Coldplay songs as "We Never Change", "AROBTTH" and "Spies" to be depressing, they are also 3 of my favourite Coldplay songs. And on the subject of Muse, not my cup of tea.

Oh God did this thread make me laugh.
  15. I don't think any other sort of rebuttle is needed here.
  16. I accept the crown and all the responsibilites that may come with it.:smug:
  17. Sam replied to *andrea*'s topic in The Lounge
Oh, but if you type www.coldplaying.com/forum you get
  18. Actually you said something that didn't make sense and I didn't want to bump the thread just to telly you how stupid you were. But whatever floats your boat.
  19. "we are going to clear my pores, detox my skin and do our nails. Does this in any way make less masculine - I need to know." haha I've decided it would be a disgrace if there ends up being no monument built for Jack in the near future.
  20. You have to be the most lonely person in the world. I'm serious. With all your accounts combined I daresay you probably have more posts than me, and not one of them even compares to Julia's post. You have been here like 2 months. I have been here like almost a year. You call Julia's post drivel yet you are just some piece of shit with no life that comes to a messageboard devoted to a band you don't even like to attempt to put other people down and fail miserably and end up getting extremely disliked by every single person on the board because of the complete "drivel" you post (although I would prefer another word.) You obviously have no social life, or at least a very poor one. If you think you are funny or smart or something, my God are you wrong. You just look like a complete tool. Please, just leave, for your sake. Because, frankly, nobody here really cares anymore, they are not bothered by your posts because there is no need to be.
  21. BOHS MAN, YOU BIAAATTCCH, DON'T BE FRONTIN, LET THE NIGGA BE AIGHT? HE HAS FREEDOM O' SPEECH AND ALL THAT SHIT, 50 CENT MAY IS PRO'LLY DA WORST NIGGA IN TOWN, BUT LET THIS BIZNITCH HAVE HIS FUN, AIGHT? AIGHT, PEACE MA BROVERS :smug:
  22. I'm sorry it was quite harsh.
