  1. Oh. My. God. I think that was the post with the MOST substance in this ENTIRE thread. :laugh4: :laugh4:
  2. ^Fuck you, bragger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wink3:
  3. Amen to that. It's so frustrating. I know that everyone will NEVER come completely together, too many things that are out of our hands get in the way of that. However, I just wish people were more civilized towards each other. Treated each other like real human beings, not emotional punching bags. This is such a tired cliche, but why can't everyone just agree to disagree and let the debate form (or die) from there....
  4. Dude, you're killing me here. First it's thousands, now it's hundreds? What next? First it's a rare thing for soldiers to do things out of line, next it's they do it every day??? If I don't say so myself, you're turning into a liberal wishy-washy pussy.
  5. lmfao, I wouldn't expect them to. Got to keep the mentality up that all's going well, and always will! It wouldn't be great to demonize the military at this point in time, when they're always speaking so highly of them. I highly doubt they will ever speak about this. I've noticed almost every single "discussion" in this area turns into a full blown attack on someone else's POINT OF VIEW. I directly associate all of this with mrcool. And I'm getting tired of it. Every. Single. Time. someone holds an opposing view in relation to his own, they automatically have to be on the defensive, because oh joy! Here come the insults! He should never join debate club, poor boy. This is not how it's done in the real world. Too bad people can get away with things on the internet that they could never do in real life. Frankly, if someone called me unamerican to my face I would laugh and fucking hit them. He's lucky this is just a messageboard. However, it's killing all of the debate and I'm getting tired of it.
  6. Dude, I have to give you a compliment. You are AMAZING at picking out terrorists!!!! You should be heading the field on this sort of thing. It is truly revolutionary. Bloody hell! You can pick out a terrorists by a few thousand posts on a Coldplay fan messageboard!!! Seriously, those terrorists are lurking everywhere and it's about time someone realizes this. No Coldplay political DISCUSSION board is safe with these un-American, baby raping, town pillaging, mother fucking terrorists lurking around. They may pretend to stalk Interpol, but really they stalk your grandmother while she walks down the street to get the milk in the morning. I do say, my good friend! You are a bloody genius and deserve a medal. By pointing out Camille's terrorism to me you have secured my freedom and worth. Thank you so much. But can you exactly point out to me what deemed this labeling necessary? Of course! I completely agree with your sentiment! Camille is a TERRORIST and should be BURNED (or put in Gitmo, same thing really). However, how will one find internet terrorists in the future? Are they all liberal queers? Or just from New York City? OH! I REALIZE NOW! It has just occured to me HOW you reached this verdict! Someone has to be a terrorist to have posted 1000 messages that oppose your own personal viewpoint on the world. Thanks so much for clearing this up. I am also pleased that you enjoy my "pluck", if you will. It's good to know someone does in this terrorist-raped world!
  7. Twisted Logic is my favorite Coldplay song ever. wtf. Um... sorry, that was random and unnecessary. LMFAO I agree?
  8. Wasn't this fucking country created for people to question authority? Created for people to speak their minds? Created for the little people to have the opportunity to fight the big people?? You fucking idiots. I can't believe the trite that has been posted in this thread. Anti-American? Because she is questioning those who rule over her and not blindly following the pack. Because she has her own convictions and isn't afraid to state them. Because she's scared where this country may be going and feels compelled to say so????????? To say that she is a bad person, and to beat her down with petty insults, THAT is anti-american. Goddamnit, not everything is covered on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC, and any other fucking network you can think of. It's a journalist code to go for the hot story and kick up the dirt. So many things could have happened that we don't know about, so who are we to say? We have not witnessed everything. We only know what they want us to, be it the government or the media. So don't give me that bullshit that it's a "rare" thing just because its the hot story right now. This will fill the media's "corrupt soldiers" quota and any other small stories will fall by the wayside. It's disgusting. It's almost like how the story in New Orleans overshadowed what happened in Mississippi at some points in the news. New Orleans wasn't even the hardest hit, but the story was there. And they all ran with it. The story is here, and anything else is not newsworthy. Go live in Iraq, or go stay at a prison then tell me if it's a rare thing. Or if it isn't. Then I'll listen to your opinion. Touche. And please, by all means. Call me anti-American. I dare you to. Because I will just scoff, knowing that you are basing all of your insulting knowledge on me off of a few chance words typed into a "Quick Reply" message box.
  9. Um............. Yeah, I agree........................................................... Don't need to see your tits, thanks.
  10. ^Will do! :D They're coming to NYC tomorrow to do an instore gig and album signing at the Borders. Ah... I am sooo excited!!
  11. Atlantic is amazing, the chords at the end just hit a place in my heart.... :nice: I love Hamburg Song! Aaaaaah, the lyrics are so beautiful... I meet Keane tomorrow!!!!!!!!! :stunned: I'm so nervous!
  12. Whoa, that's great!!! Good job! :D
  13. Wow, chill out buddy. Bit of a rule whore aren't we? :P
  14. I really thought I wouldn't like Dirty Pretty Things when I first listened to them about a month and a half ago. I figured I couldn't listen to Carl's voice alone without Pete. But it was actually much better than I expected. In fact, I'm full blown obsessed now. lmfaoooo. I see that they play Libs songs at their shows too, it's going to be great. I always am thankful that I live where I do (close to Boston and NYC). But I really wish bands didn't focus SO much on this country. I know it's important to break America and gain commercial success, but there are fans in other places too!!
  15. I know. It was quite seductive actually. What was really shocking about that is that I really don't harbor any..... attraction towards Thom. Well, I fucking love him a lot obviously. But not like THAT. But that dream makes me wonder now.... Because I was REALLY enjoying it in my dream :laugh4:
  16. :( I'll take lots of videos and pictures for you at my show then!! ;) Maybe they will in July, there seems to be a lot of gaps in the tour schedule then...
  17. I had a dream about Radiohead last night. It was kind of strange. I was at one of their gigs. Well, ok no...... It was actually a U2 concert, but I was in the same seat that I was in at the Radiohead show. And the place looked like my high school's auditorium... (????) So, I was screaming at Bono when I randomly decided that I might go in the back, for some reason I didn't want to be front row?? (what the FUCK LMFAO) And I went in the back and walked down a hall, and all of a sudden Idioteque came on, and it was a Radiohead show. Except.... when I took a turn down the corridor I was walking along, I came across Thom sitting on the stairs talking to my mom, one of my best friends and some lady I met at an Arctic Monkeys gig. So I sat down next to him and he put his arm around me and I started asking him about Idioteque. I have to admit, I was asking some pretty awesome questions. I am a hardcore journalist in my dreams. Then all of a sudden Thom said "Oh, shit, I'm supposed to be singing right now" (except, um, he already WAS singing??? I swear this dream was out of control WEIRD). And as he got up all of a sudden he turned around and said "no! GROUP HUG!" and we all hugged him. And I asked him for a picture. And then right before I took a picture with him it went to another dream (about my brother dying............................... :uhoh:) That was fucked up, yo. LMFAO! I love it. It was really realistic though, actually. Thom actually looked like Thom in my dream. So cool. And I could hear all of Idioteque in the dream, which is strange.
  18. Whoa, I agree! Coldplay vs. Keane songs would be so cool, actually. I think the song that reminds me the most of Coldplay is the begining of 'Put It Behind You'. It just sounds like something they would do. (I'm glad Keane beat them too it though..... :sneaky: ) The begining of 'Broken Toy' reminds me a lot of Radiohead, actually. I fucking LOVE it. Is anyone else going out to NYC this friday for the album signing and instore gig??
  19. Dirty Pretty Things US tour has been announced, and tickets are now on sale. I got tickets to the dates in my signature. I am such a fucking stalker. But I love teh Carl..... :uhoh: :laugh4: Go here for DPT tour dates (and links to get tickets): http://www.dirtyprettythingsband.com/index.php/gigs/ I don't know if there are any other DPT fans on here..... :(
  20. Completely agree!! I think that Waterloo To Anywhere can definately hold it's own to the Libertines (and even Baby Shambles). It truly is brilliant. And about WAS, you hit it right on the head :laugh4: They are really hysterical guys, especially in real life  That makes the music that more enjoyable, even though it's brilliant on it's own.
  21. Well, what I mean to say is that 'Bad Dream' doesn't SOUND like 'Fix You' (although it does leave you with the same bittersweet taste in your mouth when it's done). But I think it can reach that level of identity, or meaning. I hope so, at least. I think that 'Is It Any Wonder' is a great kick off single. But I definately feel that 'Bad Dream' and even 'Nothing In My Way' and 'Crystal Ball' are all tracks that could shoot up the tracks.
  22. Ok yeah, I agree with Kelli's. :laugh4:
  23. OMG LMFAO. :laugh4: "whack ass hoe" That is the best thing ever....
  24. I go to sleep listening to 'Atlantic'. The chords are absolutely beautiful and so soothing....... :nice: I think 'Bad Dream' can be Keane's 'Fix You'. (but better............................... :uhoh:)
