I was never charged, for all I know it's free. But you do have to pay for the songs that you get through the itunes store. If you upload a CD, it's free.

I'm waiting for the 20th, and I've decided not to download any ahead of time ones from the UK-ers. I will not be tempted!!! *steadfast... sort of* My school year ends on June 20th, so I think that'll be a VERY nice day indeed, and a nice gift to myself at the end of the day!! :D I'll usually download an album for free if it's a band that I don't know at all, and I don't want to invest 15+ dollars into an album I may hate. If I end up liking, I'll go out and buy it pronto, though! (I bought Arctic Monkeys' album twice, after I downloaded it back in like... January or December of '05 :uhoh: )

Awesome! I don't frequent those sites too often (I only have SO MUCH time online, ;) ), but I'll start lookin'. I hate ebay scum. Jerks. I only buy things from people who seem like fans, or if it's really rare stuff that I've never seen (like I got an AWESOME Achtung Baby tour shirt, and some ancient pins from like '81 for 15 bucks from some cool person once). Overall, though, they're over priced, too expensive with shipping, and usually not region free.

Thanks, Rick. I'm ok with people downloading something for free, as long as they go buy the album! Anyone who goes and downloads Under The Iron Sea for free is.... I don't know, but that person would make me sad. Now, if it doesn't come out until.... next year or a WHILE (maybe Australia, they always get things late for some stupid reason :( ) Then download it! But buy it when it comes out!! That way the guys are all successful, then they tour more, then they play more festivals, then they write better songs, and we're all really happy!!! EDIT: I haven't heard anything about it leaking though.... :confused: Maybe I'll try downloading the torrent to see if it's legit, but my computer usually crashes when I try.... If anyone else can, then let us know. How would someone get this copy??

That's something I've thought about as well, we'll have to look into that with GREAT attention to detail... Don't want anything to be totally wasted, of course! ;) Our love, support and the money that we can send is wonderful enough. :) (Like your sig, by the way, Zali's my hero as well!! ;) )

Oh, well excuse me, I'm sorry! I should have just immediately assumed that no one has access to music stores, or itunes! I just have some issues with people taking music that is available. I haven't seen the '81 concert. I've seen clips on youtube, though, and around the internet places. Amazing what you can find hanging around here. I really want some very early stuff on DVD though. Too bad they're so frickin' expensive!! Guess ebay is my only real option. lmfao, Larry's soooo young looking in that video, really. Young even for me! Ah, I understand you now! Sorry, I think I misunderstood what you meant ;) It is very interesting, and sad. I just think it's aweful how much our society cares about people's sexuality. It's pretty idiotic and cruel.

They're not different than anyone else... I was friends with Sean before he ever came out to me, for a REALLY long time. It changed nothing. If anything, it just made us closer. I don't think of him as gay, I think to define someone by one thing is sort of an insult to the person ;)

My gay friend doesn't lisp at all, no one knows (except for myself and a couple other friends) that he's gay. I don't think he'd lisp even if it were easier than explaining. It's just not HIM. On the other hand, I have another male friend who I think may be gay, who DOES speak with a lisp. He has not, however, come out to me. He just talks like that, that's all. It's not a show, it's just his personality!
