  1. Little kids can be really funny! I know this boy who's 9 and his little brother is 4. When they were a bit younger the older one was mad on soccer and ran around in his Man U shirt all the time. His little bro was too young to talk, but when he did, guess what his first word was ..... no, not dad ....... not mum either ...... it was ..... GOAL
  2. Yeah, I think so - a Lotus (which is a British sports car company). They have other names, beginning with 'E' - Elite, Esprit, Elan - can't think of any more lol
  3. country. boy or girl?

    do, so I ...
  5. I choose Giselle :) It's more unusual than the others. There's probably lots of babies being called Amelie now, after the film, and Elise reminds me of the car of the same name  . They're all pretty names though :) . When are you going to tell us what you chose?
  6. Sounds like my kinda party! :D

  13. :o Don't have meat in our house. Also bleach sink, worktops, hob, dishcloths, sponges etc twice a week. Hope that's enough .... We don't seem to get ill ...... :stunned:
  14. Hey congrats Ian and Jen! Great news! :D
  15. Ah yes, Downside is not too far from here (Bristol).
  16. It was at a party given by a relative of his, not far from there. How do you know people from Ampleforth? I suppose monks visit other monastries sometimes.
  17. He was introduced to me as Father Michael - there's probably a few of those!
  18. Yeah, the guys are great - I'm fascinated by the way each one of them is going through some kind of metamorphosis while he's there. But that's what it's all about, people learning more about themselves. That's how the monks are able to give more to others. I met a monk from Ampleforth last year - he was really cool too!
  19. That's so cool! I was riveted to the programme - I thought the monks were great people, so gentle and patient and accepting of others. Some people think that monks are weird, but these guys seemed full of fun, very normal, just 'deep'. You board, presumably. Do you like it there?
  20. Hey I missed this - is our Ian getting married then?
